100% agree with you. My Brother (46 years old) is Autistic but on a much deeper level (much more difficult to communicate with him). I admit that I searched her profile just to convince myself that she was not. Believe me, this has been a masterful performance so far.

This drama is so wholesome and romantic, based on what I'm seeing, he doesn't care if she has autism, she likes her for who she is and got bewitched by her charm which I'm sure any person who get bewitched, but in a good way

This scene is therapeutic. Falling for a woman’s beautiful mind and building immense respect and admiration for her raw and unfiltered personality is just refreshingly soothing to watch and observe. Eun bin’s portrayal of this character is so precious and captivating. We can’t help but share the sentiment Lee Junho is experiencing first hand.

The way I interpreted his look was that feeling you get when you see how you've made a positive impact in a person's life. It was almost as if he was thinking about how happy he was that he chose to be the one person that immediately accepted her and immediately tried to befriend her. I love all the characters in this show but I'd say Lee Jun-ho is a prime example of a good man. Him and even Jung Myung-seok are both really good dudes. Frankly, even Kwon Min-woo ended up showing that he's a good guy at heart. Just a phenomenally well-written show and it's just so refreshing to see a show that doesn't portray the male characters as idiots or selfish jerks but rather, as gentlemen. So rare to see in media today.

THIS…this @ 1:26 This subtle part makes the entire scene. He’s about to say something but catches himself. Instead, he just watches her and selflessly gives her the moment. Bravo to the writer(s), director, actors. You took a wonderful scene and added a brief moment that made it…special. And you sprinkle such moments throughout the entire series. It’s quite beautiful.

No script. No conversations. Just them being emotional. Youngwoo's eyes screams gratitude, pleasant, and happy to see her most favorite things in her workplace. Junho's eyes too couldn't lie about how precious youngwoo to come to his life now. They are so beautiful!!

This is such a splendid scene (and the music is befitting). Park Eun-bin reacting to that beautiful gift from Kang Tae-Oh made me emotional. She doesn't verbalize her feelings upon seeing the picture, but we witnessed just how much it impacted her. Her face is so beautiful, expressing everything at that moment. And Kang Tae-Oh was about to say something, but he pauses and simply takes in Park Eun-bin's joy. This scene is visually perfect.

This is certainly one of my favourite scenes and one of my favourite sections of the soundtrack. Unfortunately, they completely destroyed it on the OST CD by adding a percussive line to it. TBH I just don't know what they were thinking. One of the most poignant scenes in the entire series and they destroy the mood of the music that accompanies it. I was really looking forward to the OST but that spoiled it for me.

I'm not well-versed about music, but there is definitely that difference (the percussive line). Thank you for pointing it out. I definitely prefer this clip (without percussion). There's just something more sweeter hearing this versus the CD version.

What I really love about this episode is the context. At first, Jun ho tried leaving her a gift (the brown box which he left on her office table) but little did he know, he doesn't need to buy anything for her. He just needed to show her an already existing picture of her fave whale. It reminds us again that thoughts will always count over price. Wholesome and pure ❤️

This is my 1st Kdrama and to be honest, I don’t like soap operas too much but I love this series. I’m a single dad to two teenagers with autism and she remains me so much of my Jaden, the body movements, the No looks, the straight answers and the small showings of affection which are always true in nature.

this is my favorite scene from this episode because young-woo tries her very best to portray her emotions but in her own unique way. she honestly expressed herself in this moment, and just cried because she was overjoyed to simply see a picture of a whale that up close. jun-ho felt her sincerity and i think sees just how deep her passion for whales means to her. i teared up myself seeing this.. 🤍 P.S. Park Eun Bin gives life to the role of Extraordinary Woo Young Woo, the role of a lifetime. Only four episodes and she makes us understand WYW as she battles prejudice and challenges as a lawyer. I am glad the producer waited for her to accept the role. PEB is amazingly awesome as WYW. It makes us see and understand how to deal with persons suffering from ASD. Well done PEB.

it's good that this series minimise or eliminate the cliché that most series has for their "falling in love", "accidence-romantic", and more. this series also kind of run away from the stereotypical in which it's good for the actors to explore more, something in which many actors especially the established ones who would stuck to the same formula without growth, which made many turn away due to weak storyline, clichés, and stereotyping. kind of surprise that for the lead actress, from playing a man, to portraying an autistic, her range grows. 😊

Omg I love the whale symbolism. Super smart and are usually seen as an unstoppable force. However, as they are huge and not very often seen, they have an air of mystery to themselves. They're basically gentle giants that are often misunderstood, sort of like our sweet Woo Young-woo

I'm only a few episodes in, but so far, I'm so impressed with this kdrama and its cast. As the daughter of an autistic father, there are so many traits I recognise and remember...some with fondness, some with quite a bit of emotion. When it comes to the drama's storyline, I adore how the love story is developing, growing. My parents were together for 45 years and whilst my dad's autism was a challenge at times, it also brought us a lot as a family. The sentiment of love is the same as neurotypicals, it's just the expression of it that differs. Once you realise that, it becomes a non-issue. And I feel like this drama portrays that very well :)

Woo young body’s language is over the top,, every detail can be seen , the way she enters a room her eye contact and her fingers. Love how she greets her friend with her little song and dance ❤️. At some point I would like to see some emotional scenes with her and her dad, something he really wants from her.

This scene is so beautiful. Junho showed Youngwoo the whale picture because she said that she wanna see it one day. Even it's not real whale but look at Youngwoo's teary eyes she's so happy to see the whale and the way Junho look at her omgg my heart 😩❤️ I love them so much 🥺

#Score-n-4. I'm overwhelmed by the music in this scene. The music caused my jaws to drop, giving me goose bumps. I teared because I could see the excitement in her hands, and the buildup of staying with Woo before going to the opposite side of the room caused me to cry; and cry; and cry. To hold Jun-ho from speaking out loud, but rather seeing her; without a spoken word; was priceless. I love this show. Also Woo's friend . . . love her attitude and perception of what she likes, what goes on around her and how she handles things.

Relatable on many levels. Perfectly weaves facts,body language, human emotions,and real life challenges while maintaining a relatable story. I'm enjoying this drama. This was a very sweet moment. I love that it kind of smashes the stereotype that people with autism doen't have or show emotions. They show them differently. You just have to pay attention.
