Forecasters expect Hurricane Lee to continue weakening as it moves closer to New England and become extratropical, so for those living in New England the potential impacts will be more like a nor’easter during the winter rather than a land-falling hurricane. #foxweather #weather #tropics

I know someone who lives in Camden, Maine. (they also have a house in Florida). They had to go to Maine to get hit by a major hurricane. Good luck to everyone!

Meteorologist Todd Gunter who is a meteorologist in Maine said that it will be a strong Noreaster if it hits New England or it will be a Category One if it hits Nova Scotia head on. I ain't listening to you people who don't live in New England. We are strong people in New England.

A little too early to tell but hopefully we won't get another round of rain plus after the soaking we just got over the last 2 days. I'm on high ground in Eastern CT, protected from flooding where I am, but downed trees falling on my house and driveway and knocking down power lines is always a possibility if we get noreaster winds. The leaves are still on all the trees and that's never a good thing when a storm hits.

@@goodun2974 As long as your local power company has cleared the tree branches from the power lines you should be in good shape. The leaves are always on the trees in Florida when storms hit.
