Lee Majors is an American film, television and voice actor. Majors is best known for portraying the roles of Heath Barkley in the American television Western series The Big Valley (1965-1969), Colonel Steve Austin in the American television science fiction action series The Six Million Dollar Man (1973-1978), and Colt Seavers in American television action series The Fall Guy (1981-1986).
In the television series The Six Million Dollar Man, Steve Austin takes on special high-risk government missions using his superhuman bionic powers. The television character Steve Austin became a pop culture icon of the 1970s.
Majors' reprised the role of Colonel Steve Austin in several bionic reunion television movies in the late 1980s and 1990s. He appeared in a number of supporting, recurring and cameo roles in feature films and television series, and lent his voice to a number of animated TV series and video games.
In his early life, he participated in track and football at Middlesboro High School in Middlesboro, Kentucky. He graduated in 1957, and earned a scholarship to Indiana University, where he again competed in sports. Majors transferred to Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond, Kentucky, in 1959. He played in his first game the following year, but suffered a severe back injury which left him paralyzed for two weeks, and ended his college football career. Following his injury, he turned his attention to acting and performed in plays at the Pioneer Playhouse in Danville, Kentucky. Majors graduated from Eastern Kentucky in 1962 with a degree in History and Physical Education.

Mr Lee Majors sir, I know who could succeed you as the Bionic man! With you to guide him, training him as to what it means to be Colonel Steve Austin, he could absolutely NAIL this role! He could be shown to crash in a NASA experimental lifting body spaceplane and he could be so much like you sir, even down to the facial expressions during the slow motion running scenes. And that actor is... Thomas Jane

What year was this? One comment said he was 78 here. He had a heart bypass in 2003. I like his joke about meeting Arthur. (as in arthritis). Funny guy alright. I like that.

Omg I thought It was just me. I actually reached a point where I started fast forwarding through this tired video Because alls I really wanted to hear about was his time as the bionic man. And clearly it was a little boring because the two guys walked out midway through. I also did not like that microphone Box being awkwardly thrown around, that was weird. It just wasn't an enthusiastic crowd at all; they were lucky if there were 25, 30 people in there. When I see these lee majors interviews the only show I am intrested in hearing about is the 6 million dollar man and what it was like doing the stunts and how the effects were pulled off. That's it lol I don't care about the other shows frankly lol
