I've been playing bass for almost 40 years but those triplets are new to me. I was trying them out last night but need to work on the timing and speed. Any tips? Also, how did you figure out how Marcus plays it?

Have you played contrabass before? When fingering, the shape is the shape of a contrabass fingering. Good music, bro

Thank you for your comment. I don't have a contrabass, but I play a little electric upright bass.Traditional jazz fingering is also helpful when playing electric bass.

It's about two consecutive triplets during a solo. Play your right hand as follows: 1. slap the 4th string with your thumb 2. Pull the 2nd string with your index finger 3. Pull the 1st string with your middle finger 4. Strike the 4th string with your thumb 5. Rest 6. Pull the 1st string with your index finger(1st string 3rd fret note)
