Its difficult to find such a combination. His genuineness shines through his eyes and smile. You can't help but be drawn to his charm. Besides he is extremely talented singer and Actor, great VS entertainer, one of the top MC. Tall, atheletic, good body, great fitness, good in many sports, trained in special forces when in Army. I've watched him since Gu family book and yes he is not really your typical handsome oppa at first glance but as you look at him more specially when he smiles he got the charms of a leading man. Honestly, Im not a fan of him before although I've been watching his works cuz he is good and most of it becomes a trend. Then after military he did Vagabond and wow I've fallen in love with him! He finally graduated from cutesy cutesy image and this manly capable man suits him very very well. He is not that typical strikingly handsome but you cant take your eyes off him and the more you look at him you get drawn into his charms.

Its a breather after being in the limelight for long. Also being in army gives them right muscles bcos of exercises/training.

In my country even there are female celebrities married a man 20 years younger tham her because she have money and still healthy. In asian culture usually parent will marries their daughter before they reach 40's. So parent just marries their daughter to a man even he is a 70years rich grandpa.
