Astute signing. He's experienced, can grab goals from midfield and gives us the option to interchange our midfield now and offer something different. We didn't have that last season.

Thank you CONOR 👌👍 It's not the glorious & glamorous midfield loan signing that we are all expecting, but to be honest, it's not a bad loan signing either, he'll be very effective for us, much needed type of a midfielder that we're crying out for too..🤔 ROTHWELL will be good for us, watch 👍👌🙏

Can never please all of the people all of the time! Experienced midfielder with a bit of nous who can pack a shot. A frugal loan showing we’re sensible with money. I think Farke knows what he wants and Rothwell fits the bill.

This is a great signing and perfect example of how to use the loan market. If we want promotion we need to add goals from midfield & defence, win midfield battles against the top teams, and being effective at putting the ball into the box. This signing contributes towards that.

Good signing for us. Solid experienced player, different to our other CMs. Brings more goal threat and ball progression to our attacking play. Great option to have in the squad. Shoots and scores from outside the box as well

hes just what we need!!! last year we needed someone that could connect the Def to the Att. Glen was great but need that Pablo type that has Vision and can run through midfield. Also set pieces for me is just as massive bonus.

I would have preferred O'Hare but perhaps his injury record has deterred Leeds from pursuing the former Coventry man. Hopefully, Rothwell can be as productive as he was during his Southampton loan. On another note, having watched Canada in the Copa America tournament, I'd steer clear of previously linked Liam Miller. However, his teammate Jacob Shaffelburg was very impressive. He was quick, and industrious, and created many of Canada's chances. I imagine he'd be in the same kind of price range as Miller and IMO a far better option.

Love the spider web data view tells u a lot. The only kamara that is a better stat is basically passing the ball back and forth across the pitch.

If he can do the job he has been brought in for, then that is a good signing, my only worry is being 29 years I just hope he doesn't get injured and is out for a length of time.

Utilse the loan market with squad players im all for this. Lads who can add something to the squad is a good addition imo. This is all providing its loan with an option not obligation.

Think we need to be sensible. This is ok - if we think we are signing rock stars forget it! We still have a great side and if we do hold onto the magic 3 - this brings depth and goal threat from MF. It’s okay. Let’s see a bit more.

Rothwell was not a good loan signing for Southampton. He only started four games, the rest of his appearences were as sub. He didn’t do particularly well on the games he started, but had an imoact in a couple of sub appearences. He scored a couple of good goals against Huddersfield and a good finish v Sunderland apart from that, he didn’t affect games and lacked dynamism.

Im going to be biased here because i grew up with joe and played with him as a kid. Very sensible signing and offers us something we dont have in midfield. He will try those forward eye of the needle passes and is actually a very decent dribbler for a CM.

"He'll bring goals" 30 goals in over 350 appearances overall 4 goals last season that you keep going on about.......just say you don't know rather than pretend you know what type of player he is. Constantly making up stuff about players you know nothing about.

Kamara has nothing to give in the final third, but when he's played deep, hes done well to win back the ball, hes a DM not an AM. Neither Rodon or Struijk have a good long ball. We need Ampadu in CB to start quick counter attacks and break the low block that weve often faced.
