Great to see this on here!!, im from leek, my grandparents lived on junction road in leek, and it over looked the station!, i think i caught a glimpse of their house in the back ground. A superb piece of film!!..

Loved the Autumnal, misty journey. I think the music is fine, brings it to life. Was that a sand quarry at around 4 minutes?

I really appreciate seeing the footage you made. I regularly walk the Churnet way between Oakamoor and Denstone and often wonder what it was like. I would have only been two years old when the line closed.

Excellent images, but why the awful and inappropriate "music"? A real turnoff.

Great archive footage. at 5:19 there is a glimpse of the island platform at Alton. You can see the footbridge and the gun emplacement (both still there, as is the platform itself) in the background.

Like Buxton has said PRICELESS. History and we will not see this again.
