Leela C Zero destroys the King's indian! - LC Zero vs Stoofvlees - TCEC season 17 Premier Division

4 жыл бұрынHello chessfriends and welcome to the season 17 of the TCEC. The tournament starts with a Qualification League where all newcomers will be featured, including new AB engines and Neural Networks. THe best engines of the Qualification League will promote to League 2 and then to the League 1 and finally, the best placed 2 engines from League 1 will qualify for the Premier Division. The best two engines of the Premier division will play then in the superfinal. In the last season LC ZERO won the tournament and now all the engines have improved and we will have the best engine chess tournament in history.
Today I wanted to show you a great game by LC Zero against Stofvlees from the round 17 of the premier division in a King's indian attack.

Thanks for highlighting this game. This is almost unbelievable. This game causes me to imagine how many moves the elite 2700+ gm's actually miss when they draw a game.

The KID just isn't for engines. I once drew against a cheater online thanks to that. We went into a Mar del Plata and instead of launching an attack on my king, he only focused on making slow pre-emptive moves on the queen's side, which is exactly what an engine at low depth recommends doing in that variation. The comp got itself into such a bad position even a patzer like me couldn't lose.
