I'm a 53 yr old prison guard from NY. I've lived a pretty hard and aggressive life and formed a rock hard defensive exterior and personality. But when I first heard this song I literally wept. There truly is not enough praise inside of me when I think of what the Lord has done for me and for everyone, everywhere. I thank God for for all he has done for me , especially for introducing me to my beautiful, wonderful wife Jennifer , who turned me onto worship music and this song. Awesome job Leeland ... Wow! This group has been out since 2011! I’m just now hearing there song “Way Maker” this month in April. The sad thing is. Back in 2011, I wouldn’t have known who they were because I refused to listen to worship music. I loved worldly music better. Praise be to GOD for pulling me out completely from the world!!! 🙌🏾✝️🐑💖🌱

Our Worship leader asked me to lead this song at our Church one day I wasn't feeling very worthy to sing it but as I began to listen to it and pray as I was learning it I could hear the still small voice of the Spirit say YOUR WORTHY! In 2010, my gf broke up with me and i found out that I had been sinning and lying to my friends about the entire relationship--acting like I was trying to please God, but really being selfish and lustful. I was hurting bc I had lost a girl that loved me and that I had loved too late. I also hurt because I had hurt my relationship with God and my friends. One of the friends I had hurt said, "let's go to the beach." He drove me for 3 hours to his home town where we swam and ate with his parents. On the way there, he played this album on his car stereo and I balled like a baby. I felt God's "heavy grace." God really met me through my friend that day.

It was a great pleasure to meet the Band Members of Leeland, at The History Maker concert from May 18-20th, 2012 at The Abbotsford Entertainment and Sports Center. I was working as a Security Guard there for the 3 day event. It was great to meet everyone at the door too, you were all so nice and friendly, as I was to you in return as well.
