If I intend to update the feature branch with the new changes made in master branch, keeping the master intact.. what could be the possible way out (except merging)?

You can do rebase the branch with master

Sir you said we can use rebase for pulling changes and without merging ,but in the demonstration when using rebase the feature is merged with master right .. means it's perfoming merging there Please correct if I'm wrong , And please reply 🙏 And thank you

without merging means, without creating a new merge commit, in case of rebase

We can do using git reflog and reset to that particular commit hash

Definately gonna check your reflog video and my scenario is: Suppose we have a Master m1 m2 m3 Feature (m1 m2) f1 f2 Git checkout Feature Git rebase master Master m1 m2 m3 Feature (m1 m2 m3) f1 f2 As there is no commit we have done and branch got sync with master. If we want feature to be Feature (m1 m2) f1 f2 then how we gonna do? Can we delete commit m3 from middle?
