Leela's search method makes everything _highly_ speculative, by computer standards. So I love it when her games feature material sacrifices.

This game leaves you with two questions: firstly, has Leela refuted Benoni? And secondly, if not, where did you actually go wrong? Was accepting the two sacrifices a mistake?

seems funny this AI can analyze deep chess moves but on 15:49 'knight exchanges...' huh??? 🤔😅😃 ... isn't that rook exchanges. I guess it's a human annotating.

5. f4 ? wait... what ?I wonder which leela is playing here, obviously not the one I had installed, 'cause f4 was never her 1st choice and after a few seconds of calculation she already discard it. 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄

there are 2 possible answers to your question. 1. leela didn't choose this move itself, it was part of the book moves chosen by the TOs. In these high level computer tournaments the TOs usually choose a couple of opening moves in order to minimize draws, or prevent computers from always playing the same line over and over against themselves. Then the computers take the lead and start playing after these chosen opening moves. 2. The leela here was on much better hardware than the one on your computer. I know TCEC has some computing hardware that dwarfs the traditional home computers, even with those high end GPUs and CPUs.

@@Wakssbm the 2nd possibility does not apply, like I make it clear in my comment, in my computer leela only takes 3 or 4 seconds to give up that move, in a faster system she would give up almost instantly. as for 1st possibility, if this was the case then it must, at all costs, become very explicit, that fact must be said with all letters not hidden.

Don't flatter self to much stocky for she taught you something about yourself which is you can always learn something about you when you lose and thats when you find out what you already had but miss placed a thought miss understood and that picture of her doesnt look as pretty as before but I'll leave this one for you, for when you realize your experience is greater than your looks and you find out being pretty is something in a moment that your character can express😊bye bye happy machine n

I really wish you would eliminate the nonstop chatter. It would be very annoying to have to listen to that motormouth "Stockfish" rambling on endlessly the entire video. I say "would be" because I find it so annoying that I stop watching within 30 seconds. This is the third video of yours I started to watch but soon stopped due to "Stockfish" being unable to shut up. A comment once in a while would be okay but not rambling on continuously pointing out every little detail. I won't bother watching any more of your videos.

the analysis of various black options is critical to understanding the correctness of white's play. If a little unrelated chatter by Stockfish accompanies it, is that a good enough reason to not learn some brilliant strategic ideas?
@brucea9871
@brucea9871 Ай бұрын
@gordonwhalley2461 It was not a LITTLE unrelated chatter; it was a LOT. And judging by the low quality of the chatter I did hear (which provided nothing of value except to complete beginners) I doubt there would be any brilliant strategic ideas revealed.

@123ARES Of course I considered that. But then I would miss any explanation of moves that were more difficult to understand (assuming they provided explanations of those moves). It would be simpler if the commentary was restricted to such moves rather than explaining every single small detail of every single move. That is overkill.

I agree. It's annoying. Annoying voice. Annoying 'jokes'. And overall annoying. Totally annoying.
