Chenle's voice is the backbone of NCT Dream's sound. When I first became a fan I always noticed Haechan and Renjun's voices first because they have such distinct tones but eventually I realized that Chenle can adapt his voice to any tone he wants and his ability to blend his voice to whoever he's singing with is why Dream's harmonies are so incredible. We're so lucky he got over his doubts about moving to Korea and joining SM.

I'm always in awe how Chenle can make his voice adapt to whatever occasion it is. Not only does he have precise control of his voice and projection, but he can also get into conveying the emotions of the song very well. I love how whenever he closes his eyes you can really see how he's enjoying singing. Alsoooo thank you Czennie for sharing your Makestar face-to-face fansign experience with Chenle! Excited to hear he's planning to release something through SoundCloud again. 천러가 얼마나 노래에 진심이고 노래 부르는걸 얼마나 좋아하는지 알 수 있었던 영상 같다. 노래를 부를때 가사와 상관없이 위로해주는 느낌이고 감정 전달이 진짜 미쳤다. 가슴에 바로 와닿는다. 천러의 음색은 부드럽고 담백하면서 시원하고 단단하고 구름같다. 진짜 천러가 노래부르는 일이 더욱더 많아졌으면 좋겠고 다른 사람도 천러의 음색, 노래에 대한 진심을 다 알았으면 좋겠다. 그리고 천러가 리무진 또 나와서 노래 불어줬으면 좋겠다.

천러의 음색도 너무 좋지만 아무도 따라할 수 없는 특유의 창법도 너무 좋음… 낮지만 높은 듯 들리는 잔잔한 미성과 섞여진, 단단한 보컬이 곡에 더 이입하게 만드는 느낌이랄까? 음정도 너무 안정적이여서 듣는데 너무 편안함… 소년의 목소리와 얼굴을 가졌지만 단단한 내면을 가진 천러가 내 최애라 정말 다행이야 🫰🏻

ikr chenle is always love challenge but SM never give opportunity before. pre-boom era he sings beautifully some english songs with riff runs eventhough he was not singing seriously. he was able to show off his vocal but he has not much opportunity but i think started in hot sauce album it feels like it filled with chenle's voice

@@narunaru9190 in hot sauce is strange because i feel like they still not giving him oportunity, irrepleceable for example is a song that really disrespects him in my opinion, the end of the song gives a lot of adlibs to haechan and renjun and just ignores chenle, that hapenns on rainbow and some others songs of the album. But in hot sauce he at least he has some lines more showing up him, but in glitch mode i feel like he was really there shining a lot and having a lot of lines.

“stability” isn’t actually a metric for judging a vocalist objectively, just fyi! that would be support, diaphragm engagement, breath control, belting, range, use of chest, mixed and head voice etc…and in ALL the aforementioned categories HAECHAN actually has the best vocal technique in dream, BY FAR! but if you want to focus on stability, haechan is kind of the best in that too😭just watch the recent smoothie encores, chenle sometimes whispers his parts, cracked his voice on the mcountdown one while singing his adlib, or simply struggles to sing his higher notes with any kind of volume and it lacks power and sounds extremely nasally and airy and just weak. Haechan was being extremely loud tho and was belting all the high notes! he is the best vocalist in dream overall and chenle really still needs more vocal lessons (even tho he admitted he stopped taking them?😭)
