I've always thought that Miyeon is the perfect example of beautiful voice, good technique and right control of emotions. Her notes always sounds so easily delivered and her face shows so many emotions which makes it more enjoyable. She express a lot with her voice. The perfect Main Vocalist. I hope she continue to sing for a long time.

I can't imagine many idols are willing to cover Wendy on a platform like this. Props to Miyeon for taking that chance (from HMLYCP you know she's a gambler). Her voice is just heaven on earth. The mix of vocal talent in I-DLE is a jackpot of riches. I'm just sad it took me this long to find them

Not many idols can cover Wendy's 'When This Rain Stops' because it's a hard song, but Miyeon had nailed it easily, and made it sounds like her own song. She's such a talented vocalist like Lee Mujin said.

I really was so impressed she was going to sing When this rain stops because it's ridiculously HARD and she just NAILED IT! Miyeon... you just gained a huge fan right now, I'm so impressed (I mean I love (G)-IDLE and I already knew Miyeon especially in variety shows and I love her personality and herself so much but I haven't had the opportunity to see her singing such a challenging song and now I'm loving her even more)

Tbh miyeon literally sound very different from other idol. Like for me most of the idol sounds the same (not 100% if you know what I’m talking about) but yeah her voice literally heartwarming and I really love it. Miyeon, minnie, lily, and there’s another one she’s in a girl group called purple kiss.

Idle's vocal colors are so unique. They can sing and you'll know its them right away! It would be hard to cover their songs because their vocal chemistry is unmatched!

I agree. In fact I this very issue has actually slapped them when it comes to covering Soojin's parts. Soyeon makes every line specific to a member so that it's always THEIR part. Minnie and Shuhua tend to be the ones who cover Soojin the most, but mostly Shuhua. She's doing a good job picking up most of those lines, but you can tell she's uncomfortable singing in that lower silky range. Again, I think she's doing great, but you can tell the difference when she's singing more recent stuff with lines that were made for her as opposed to singing Soojin's parts.

I totally agree. She has a lot of potential and she is so stable and capable of controlling her voice and pitch. She has a powerful voice. I think she is one of the best girl vocalists of 4th gen (with Lily, Minnie, Ningning, Yunjin, Liz, Sihyeon, etc. but that’s just my opinion :))

her voice is exactly like red wine, her vocal tone is beautiful and deep, consistently has many wild cards to it. her range really depends and can go so deep but yet so high. her voice is just so pleasant. her voice and everything will always be more than just a pretty face.

퀸카 피아노 반주 하나로도 저렇게 좋다니 음색파워 인가? 현란한 사운드에도 안묻히고 나오는 목소린데 잔잔한 곡도 잘하고 점점 만능이 되어가는듯 무진이 의견 겁나 공감되네 배경도 파스텔톤인데 옷도 천사처럼 입고 나와서 더 몽환적인 느낌 오랜만에 또 느끼는 미연이의 사기성 보통 자기 목소리 처음 녹음해서 들어보면 겁나 어색해서 황급히 꺼버리는데 가수는 떡잎이 다르구나... 무진이 표정 완전 입덕했고만 ㅋㅋ 분위기 전환용 팝송으로 중저음까지 보여주고 프로 다된듯 근데 트와이스 곡 까지 들으니 역시 미연이는 신나는 곡이 최고인듯

Even if Miyeon wasn’t an idol, I feel as though she would be a KZfaq singer or something that allows her to primarily showcase her singing ; it seems she really loves to sing. Her singing has emotion and I think she’s not only to try to sound pretty, but portray something when she sings. That’s remarkable and I’m happy to see this about her. I became a fan!!!

Before she debuted as an idol she worked for two years as a singer. She was touring with Urban Zakapa (famous korean R&B group) and doing other stuffs as well. She's a professional singer, I'm proud of her! Her EP shows a lot of her potential for us as well

I am always thankful when Miyeon gets to be on shows like this that showcase her amazing and unique vocals. She's so distractingly pretty that it's kind of like both her greatest blessing and biggest curse because people sometimes overlook how talented a singer she actually is. Her abilities are top tier and she's right up there among the best of the best main vocalists of any group.

I also agree. But there are still folks saying she shld be in blackpink. She doesn't fit the bp concept. She has so much fun in gidle now.

@@multistan8969 yeah exactly. Gidle experiments with different types of music genres and if miyeon isn't in gidle, she won't get such diverse exposure. I can't wait for her to do more diva-esque songs. Her voice on their english ep heat blew me away. She really carried those english songs to a higher level.

Miyeon never disappoints! It seemed like she had LMJ gagged a couple times throughout the episode, lol. He was right when he said that he thinks Miyeon sounds great in a softer song, and then was right to take it back and say she sounds just as great in more powerful songs. Her voice is so elegant and beautiful, and she makes it seem so effortless. It's no wonder why the Idle members always refer to her as a princess. Also! I've always felt Miyeon would slay a Twice song and she did. I was surprised that she shared about her experiences auditioning for YG and Cube. So awesome to see when a person passionately goes out for their dreams.

I really love Miyeon’s voice so much and it kinda reminds me of Taeyeon, probably because you can feel the emotions they put while singing and their singing and talking voice doesn’t differ that much 💗

i'm so glad miyeon finally got to be on this show. i was starting to think that she wasn't going to be invited but i'm glad that was not the case. she has such a beautiful voice and i love to hear it any chance i can get. this is such a great opportunity and i'm so grateful to lee mujin for inviting her! our main vocal is amazing, i'm so glad to know her 💗
