D.O. has a Masters in Cute-Adorable. The only thing I've seen from Lee Youngji is her collab with BIBI and Soyeon from gidle. This was really nice and sweet.

Youngji is a legit EXO-L, when she had Kai on her yt show Kai even tested her knowledge of Exo choreo and she knew how to dance everything. She pitched this song to Kyungsoo and she said she was surprised he accepted it. Kyungsoo said of course he did, because the song is really good. The song already hit 35x RAK (real time all kill #1 on all Korean platforms despite being in tough competition on the charts with Aespa, New Jeans, and Red Velvet and even Lisa comeback). Yeongji was on Na PD’s live yt show, and Na PD called Kyungsoo during the show and they discussed how they filmed the MV. Apparently the kiss scene was the first scene they had to do and it was their first time to meet also she hasnt acted in anything like this before, she said Kyungsoo was really professional and helped her by just talking and doing ice breakers. The director and staff were all a good distance behind them for this scene and counted down 3-2-1 to the kiss, but Kyungsoo kept asking her random questions like “Do you like to read? What do you do in your daily life?” So Youngji was distracted and didnt hear the 3-2-1. And Kyungsoo just suddenly kissed her. So her reaction was 100% real. 😂❤ Watch the live performance Youngji guested on Kyungsoo’s Taipei fancon last weekend - she refused to make eye contact and didnt want to stand next to him, he even teased her by tapping her shoulder on stage but she refused to turn around 😂 she kept side stepping away from him and even ran off stage after the performance 😂😂😂

@@sandihenry2137 from youngji’s perspective it can be very surprising because she is very much still a newbie in comparison to veteran global star Kyungsoo. She is 9 years his junior and in terms of achievements in music and their careers, there is a large gap. She is also clearly a fangirl, so as a fangirl asking her ultimate idol to feature in her song, it takes a lot of guts and probably she was prepared to be rejected because Kyungsoo is very busy and has nonstop projects lined up. There are many considerations to accepting a song - not just the actual quality of the song, but the timing of the release, schedule of MV shoot, does the concept fit Kyungsoo’s image/branding etc. Youngji recently appeared on I’m On The Beat and she said “I really wanted Kyungsoo to do this song because I really love his voice. So I asked him, ‘Please, no one else can do this except you.’”

I thought I was gonna die of covid.. but I actually died of envy! 😂 Love the guitar when Kyungsoo started rapsinging. ❤ Youngji mentioned said she wrote this song a while back when a guy made her feel insecure about herself.. and how Kyungsoo immediately agreed with the collab after hearing the song. Youngji actually said she "I can't do it again!" when she ran 😅 the MV director wanted them to shoot the kiss scene on the 1st day when they 1st met to clear the awkwardness 😊 it was scripted but her reaction was genuine. I mean I would have ran straight to the water after being kissed by Kyungsoo!😂 Thanks for the reaction! 😊❤️

She was the same live with KyungSoo in Taipei (I think). She didn't want him to get too close and ran off stage as soon as it ended. So funny.

The thing so cute about kiss scene is that, timing was adlib!They had to kiss at 3-2-1 sign but after signal he kept talking to her, so she was confused if it's filming or BTS.Then he suddenly kissed while talking so her real reaction came😂❤️
