1st....I dearly love and miss David Carradine 2nd....i miss this cute Lisp. 3rd... oh Lord, still in age he was blessed and had a sweet smile. 4th....He is the one and ONLY American I can understand and love to listen to him. He had such a BIG BIG Talent to tell stories. I imagine, it must have been great as a child to listen to a fairytail told by him. This voice calms you down just in a second. I still L O V E you David, Mr. Carradine. Lots of love is sending up to your cloud.

What a charming interview. 🥰 They were both clearly having fun with each other; and the host was sufficiently odd, quirky and quick-witted to keep up with the famously eccentric and mercurial actor. Carradine could sometimes get bored and annoyed and testy with dull-witted hosts; but there was none of that here.

What a lovely guy he is here in this interview. First thing I ever saw him in was North and South miniseries back in the 80's, where he played a real bastard Justin LaMotte.. he played it well but damn he was a horrible character in that. But what a sweet nice guy in this interview.. such a shame he's gone.

Yes his character was a real bastard in that haha, played that part very well didn't he.

Never seen this guy (Ross) before.... what a GREAT interviewer. I am sure his prior relationship with David Carradine helped, but this guy is awesome. One of the best interviews I've ever seen in my life for sure.
@minstrelofMir8 жыл бұрын
sorry but i think ross took the piss and dominated the interview
@C---M8 жыл бұрын
Yeah David should have punched his smugg effin face, he was a disrespectful dick.
@hfontanez988 жыл бұрын
***** Are you dumb? They were acquainted and Carradine knew very well his style and was playing along just fine and enjoying it. This dude TOTALLY dominated the interview. He was brilliant.
@C---M8 жыл бұрын
hfontanez98 Not as dumb as you obviously. Jonathan Ross has always been an annoying dickhead interviewer. sometimes very clever but usually just annoying and yes he makes it all about him, which is why he sucks. I guess you have never seen him before so this might look cool but his dumb trick get's old quick. I prefer to hear the guest speak.
@hfontanez988 жыл бұрын
***** The only obvious thing is that you think that people smarter than you would ever be are dumb. You don't like his style, so you say he sucks. He doesn't. Imagine if I say that you suck simply because I do not like your comments. It would be totally unfair for me to say that. Regardless of how I feel personally about you, I should be man enough to give you your props. Truth be told, you suck on your own merits and I would not take that away from you.

Ross is so condescending!! I had dinner with David and his friend who is a producer . We were at an Expo in London. Dinner on a yacht. I sat with him and we chatted. Christine Sutherland was opposite. Chekhov from Star Trek thought I was in films 😂. David also Played piano in the lounge after dinner. So many characters there and they all gravitated towards our table . Lovely memory. He slipped his hand round my waist the next day when they saw me with a huge smile and a “Hello little lady” ❤

" 'You gotta be cruel to be kind,' if you'd said it that way, we'd have got it straight away." "I'm trying to be a little poetic. The other thing is, is that I'm tryin' to get you interested in reading the next paragraph, which would explain it." Boy Bill has the same articulate, witty way of saying things. That character really way designed for Carradine.

Yes...and he will have a new start. At least he will have avoided the upcoming Great Tribulation. We are right at the very end of this system. We ARE talking about David, here aren't we?
@zimjun73 жыл бұрын
@Arben Korkmaz It is in Matthew 24:21& 22. Jesus told his listeners that there will be, "in the last days, a tribulation that has not ever occurred since the world's beginning....nor will ever happen again. In fact, unless those days were cut short, no flesh would be saved." But on account for those who DO listen, those days WILL be cut short. The earth will always be here, because "He didn't create it for nothing." It's the society of rebellious people, the element. We are not far from it. Next comes a proclamation of Peace & Security Total destruction of the World Empire of False Religion (they have misled so many) Tribulation Armageddon (the peak of tribulation)
@zimjun73 жыл бұрын
@Arben Korkmaz If this interests you, Arben, I have scriptures to easily back this. June
@zimjun73 жыл бұрын
@Arben Korkmaz Nobody would ever guess I was 60 something....jeesh! Now that THAT is out of the way....I said that at least David would avoid the Tribulation due to his passing. He will likely have a new start in the earthly resurrection. Like others who have passed.... Inherited death we all have. YOU asked me what was the Great Tribulation. I answered in the best way I could. You and everyone else have that right to know. Didn't mean to confuse... When we take in accurate knowledge, it is up to us what we do with it. Free will. Please look up jw.org "What is the condition of the dead?"

Lol, it's a different culture and a different humor. I saw nothing Jonathan said to be hurtful or degrading. If you want to see what I mean by differences in humor try looking up Japanese humor, see the difference, possibly be mortified... Not offended, just mortified.

It was a pretty funny interview. I don't think David Carradine was relating too well to this host who was much younger than him. David was just there for the money and he was counting the minutes until the infernal interview ended. It's hilarious that he didn't know what the next stop on his trip to England was about. He just knew he was getting paid and didn't much care about the details. I don't really blame him, he was just doing what he needed to do to put food on the table.

For anyone viewing the early Kung Fu series, be sure to check out the preacher "Serenity Johnson" episodes, played by David's real Dad, John Carradine. A couple of David's brothers were also in the series. The mute that acts with the preacher is his younger half-brother. The middle Caine is another of his brothers.

I am glad Ross talks of eastern phrases, i went to yoga clases and agreed with many such phrases and then found people thought i had meant to apply them in ways i would never have signed up to, It is easy to get enthusiastic about, humilty being good for example but historically i know that admiring humility has meant keeping the poor poor in Europe, so I know it has down sides, I don't have the historical knowledge of how eastern phrases`play out so they are dangerous. rose macaskie madrid

I never knew he walked off Kung Fu. Until now anyway. Its a shame he died the way he did. I understand they just left it as accidental suicide or something. That was so messed up the way he was found, there is no way he did that to himself. I'd sooner think maybe a sexual partner was there when things went bad - the person panicked and got the hell out. But the way the authorities acted - it felt more like he was murdered outright and the cops covered it up.
