I thought it was Liskarm or any other defender, looking at the shield as the secondary weapon. But the map is the first chapter, so it couldn't be her. My realization kicked in when he jumped out of the boat to hold the enemies back.

An Arknight spin off were you play as the Operator would be really cool though. I dont think it would be anything massive or have a full story like the base game but rather just some goofy fun like this.
