Those Israeli candlesticks are my jam (almost anything with a mosaic motif is, even cakes (yep I made a mosaic cake during lock down)), but alas they are not within my means. Cheers to whoever gets them!

I have gotten scuffs off by making a paste with baking soda and water and scrubbing the pottery with a toothbrush. 😊

Laura, the Frankoma Potteries in OK reopened. The first piece is homage to the original Tiki glasses back in the ‘50’s for the Tradewind bar in Tulsa. Beautiful pieces😊

I adore Mosaics and I love love love those mosaic candles!! I rather like the Israel pottery too. Love the colours and the shapes painted on them. Cant afford to buy them but I do like them.

Love the teal pottery. Over the last 2 or 3 years, without even realizing it, teal gradually became my favorite color! Like you, minimalism is just not in my blood. My husband tells me why collect stuff you're gonna hide it away & never see it. I agree!

2nd comment- the orange Bitossi was gorgeous. It matches my living room perfectly! I understand why you passed on both pieces, but I would have definitely bought the orange one! 😊 Edit- I absolutely love the brass goblet set! I’ve never seen anything like it before!

Always such a joy to see you decorating your finds. After finding you, I binged all your videos over summer vacation. I never thought I would like Mid-Century (which looks as it did in my parents house ). Oh - I almost forgot: I could not have imagined how pretty those candlesticks would turn out until you presented them.

So cool hearing your're coming to Belgium! I recommend the flea market on Place du Jeu de Balle in Brussels that is on most days, the Rue Haute in brussels which is a streat with lots of antique/vintage design stores, and the Antiekmarkt in Tongeren (an hour or so outside of brussels) which is every sunday untill 1pm, it's one of the best known in Belgium and people come from all over the world. I hope you have a lovely trip in our little country and I can't wait to see your videos!

When you were picking up the Bito orange piece which I wouldn't have purchased for that price it really looked quite gnarly. Anyway my dear you bypassed a piece of McCoy pottery. That was the frog planter in muted colors. The reason I went oh my was because my sister and her husband long gone now published three long big volumes on McCoy pottery if you ever run across one of the volumes in the front is a picture of my beautiful beautiful sister and her little dog Fergie. This was when McCoy pottery was at its heyday it was selling for pretty big money I have a couple of the frogs I love them love your videos. Love to listen to your husband's little comments. He shows you that little bright yellow lemon beret which you didn't get. I think you could have got it for his sake❤

Thanks fir showing the blue Bitossi. I have the same pot but in a greenish color and the circles are highlighted gold. It has a 'Made in Italy' sticker on it but that is all I knew. Left Coast Academy!

Laura, Are you going to do more full room makeovers like you did for your sister? I know you just said in this video you’re doing a living room makeover, but I hope you continue to do those for family and friends, even if you take them shopping and they purchase the items, and then you put it all together. You are so good at design, and loved watching you work on your sister’s bedroom!

I just found a signed C Jere metal sculpture *in the wild* for only $15!!!! It was a very dusty junky yard sale that I just happened upon. It's the covered bridge sculpture - not a design that I love, but hopefully I can make some money on it. Thanks Laura for teaching me about this artist!!!!

I LOVE your enthusiasm! That said, I’m ROFL because I was born in 1961 and grew up with Mid-Century Modern. I didn’t like it then and I still don’t, but you’re very good with color, symmetry, and creating balance, so it has far more appeal in your carefully arranged displays. I guess we all love what is distantly behind us? I prefer Victorian houses, Greek Revival, furniture from the 1800s-1900s (although there is some stuff that is awful from those centuries, too). I think great style has a lot to do with creating a color balance, well-proportioned pieces, eye-pleasing symmetry. I saw very little of that actually growing up in the 1960s. So it’s a lot of fun to watch you stage things so beautifully. 😊

Not a terrible mistake for you, but I would have picked up the orange colored Bitossi even though it was a little rough. I've always wanted a piece of Bitossi and a little wear would only add character. I love watching your videos.

Those thunderbird earrings were AMAZING ❤️ I loved the Israeli pottery pieces in your collection- despite the imperfections on the one you buy in this video- the collection just looks gorgeous on display!
