Since you know they're tool material now, what are your thoughts on keeping a written or typed blurb with you to push back on that statement the next time class convenes. Let them know that you wanted to say something then but had to work on your confidence to speak up to someone you respect on a topic you disagree with. The teacher will reveal a lot about their alliances and official tool status, or if it was a genuine ignorant mistake, which we can all make too. Only do this in class in Front of peers at large if you do not fear for your safety Otherwise go to the instructor privately with a trusted friend or small group to present the blurb. In general, basic supplies should include Not perishable food Water Water filter Batteries Masks Sewing kit Plant seeds for edible plants Writing utensils Radio Cleaning supplies Flashlights Heating pads Clothing for all weather And there are skills you should develop! Gardening, sewing, cooking, cleaning, first aid, and other typical “house wife” skills are SO important for rebuilding community. The point isn’t to be to live in a shed terrified of the outside world. The point is so be ready incase something realistic happens! A power outage, money issues, snow storm/heat wave, realistic things! All the objects are things you can have just around the house, and the skills are things everyone should know!

4:01 as someone who has suffered from malnutrition, it messes you up for YEARS. I’m chronically deficient in vitamin D now and for a long time I had no control over my bladder because of muscle atrophy. You get bruises everywhere because there’s like….no padding, not to mention the inevitable iron deficiency that makes it easier for you to bruise in the first place. And mine was relatively mild…chronic malnutrition can permanently mess everything up from your immune system to your body in general. People will be feeling the effects of this war for even decades after the actual bombing has stopped.

I used to voice-act to myself, be careful not to strain the vocal cords! Also try not to do accents too much because I think I managed to make myself speak completely different- like I'll start speaking British and then randomly it slowly starts to become the voice of "Number 15 burger king foot lettuce" guy- djg I need to fix that, I'm not British at all- I don't even mean to do it and it just happens and it's so embarrassing ;~;

@@hellolithyMy greatgrandfather was kept in a hospital long than needed for his tuberculosis (because the hospital most likely wanted to leech as much money as they could from an immigrant family) so my great grandmother wrote to Jackie Kennedy (in spanish, she didnt know english) and got a reply, Great grand father got unadmitted to the hospital soon after. That not even an eighth of it. There is not enough room to say much about it.

Also there is no proof we could find of citizenship from my great grandfather- and my great grandmother stayed in the US for 20 years after the Bracero program ended until Amnesty.

I found out more about the UK dog ban, I wish I could be able to help, those dogs don't deserve to be killed..it was all over some dog attacks, which were due to improper training from the owners of the dogs. It's not fair to kill a species of dog just because of a couple of attacks

I've been kind of exhausted lately as well- I'm assuming it's because of my borderline iron deficiency (hey, twinning) and also because being at home all day every day (since school's out) is kind of bad for my depression... if you're concerned about the iron deficiency it would be worth getting it checked again and maybe getting tablets or something. Hope u feel better soon. My family makes a steamboat (hotpot) for christmas + lunar new year and we just sit there for hours and add food and drink soup all afternoon, it's pretty great. kinda tired honeslty, i haven't been around much just because i felt so burnt out and stressed but I'm sort of back now. how are you? also for plans i want to take steps too start a medical transition and I'm learning to screen print and play yet another instrument. what about you?

@@Rene-is-confused yeah same tbh, my winter break is ending soon and thats making me sad. i don't really have any plans other than try to enjoy life/be social and maybe try to figure out a way to make money when im older so i don't die (which is gonna be a bit hard because im disabled). I hope all the things you're working on and your transition go well.

Also, asking systems could help as resource, but make sure to be respectful! After all, there's no better source than someone who has it- it's like asking questions about anxiety vs asking questions about anxiety with a person who has it, they're likely informed better on this stuff and can better describe some of the stuff

@@Detriax maybe, but they could really be telling the truth, if someone has their doubts it's always best to ask the same questions about something that has a straight answer and compare data. DID is something that is very complex, things are different for each individual and some may not fit textbook examples since honestly? Some textbooks are horribly outdated Also in spaces like these, there are going to be huge sums of people, they may not all be the same, things can differ. It's like going to a pride event, not everyone there may be part of the community, but the ones that are tend to stick together, of course there are bad people out there, but I don't really understand why someone would want to fake something like that considering the cons of how some people end up treating them

@@Detriax gotta say even if they don't have it and are just saying that, the resources can still be super helpful. like even if someone is faking it which is always a debate you bring up, they can still have some amazing and informative resources.

@@Detriax oh ok, i think that should be applied to everything not just systems though. like just take anything people say on th internet with a grain of salt and some critical thinking skills and if someone says something research it. also consider if you go to a DID/OSDD specific space to ask questions rather than just blindly taking peoples word for it. i don't see the harm in just listing to what these systems have to say about their expiracne though, and it often gives some valid insight.

it feels. so weird. to have lived to this point. we never expected to live this far, we're so happy but also so weirded out. and we turn 16 late this year oh boy. thats gonna be fun, being pressured to get a driver's license when we already know it could be a hazard for us to drive because of our audhd and aystemhood.......... smiles. how fun. /s - 🌓/🌤
