I'm 38 and started two years ago. The best thing I've ever done. I know I'm not that old compared with some of you, but I remembered a conversation with a friend that His only regret was not starting earlier... (He is 21 years old and started a year ago) So, my point is... Unless you started Bjj at 6 to 10 years old, you are going to wish you would have started earlier.

Most definitely! Anyone with empathy is gonna feel moved. You guys are clearly in touch. Blessings Ps. Life is over as within a blink. People in this budding religion of man that don't follow Christ JESUS/YESHUA/LIVING WORD who despises mans religions for a reason should re concider before your time is up. - Blessings to those with ears to hear. We're living in a time of great deception and Antichrist programming. Jits is fun but it won't get you into life eternal. Keep that in mind.

Jiujitsu has changed my life so fast in a positive way; I'm a calm easy going guy. Very inspirational. I’ve trained martial arts at various times through my life but was never serious enough or geographically stable enough to get a black belt in anything. Yeah, it's easy to lose perspective about athletics by the time you're in your mid-30s. The only time I stop exercising altogether is during tax season when I'm working two jobs. Come April 15th I'm exercising 5 times a week again as usual. Whatever it takes we just have to push ourselves and go. I'm 42 now but I want to be just like this guy if I live to that age.

What a fantastic tribute to Mr. Philips and to BJJ! Age is just a number, it is not an excuse - Mr. Philips is a perfect example for all of us. At 52, I'm proud to be a member of a community that allows people of every age & demographic to gather on the mats, to push & train & sweat together, to share moments of excitement & accomplishment together and to become better human beings, physically & mentally, in the process. Thank You, Mr. Philips & Mr. Kraychete, an inspiring video for sure - OSS!!!

This gentleman is an inspiration across the board. It takes many of us too long to realize that martial arts embodies all of the core principles to be truly “successful” in life. One of them being, It’s NEVER too late to start. Thank you sir!

The most important thing in my life has been doing my very best at work, but lately I’ve been challenged with repetitive motion injuries that trigger deep sadness and loss of hope for my future. I’m going to keep doing things to heal my arms, back, mind, and cardiac muscle. I won’t be a burden to society. As Louis Armstrong Said: ‘I will retire when I expire ‘. Thanks, Savage. I’ll dedicate my next physiotherapy session to you. My tears are shed in gratitude to you, man.

This video gives me hope .... so cool. I am 51 and I started BJJ last week, I love it, everything hurts right now ... but anyway I am so happy that I made the move. I hope that I will be able to continue for many years to come.
