I thought it was interesting that Kaylee said she thinks Josie should be alone bc that’s what Nina always said about Elena - that she should be alone or with a guy who was human.. ie NOT Damon/Stefan.. First four episodes were like 'oh, Sebastian, that quiet, shy guy', but fifth was a huge surprise - in a very good way! His acting was so refreshing and natural, something close to classic "Interview with the Vampire". Thumbs up!

I want to see Kai! I'm excited for Freya but I wish we got some others from the originals back. Davina would make for an amazing teacher & Kol can just be there being Kol lol the kids could come to him for all non teacher approved help lol. Marcel would be amazing help to those young vamps. & while I love Freya I'm a bit sad that it's not Rebekah bc she literally raised Hope on her own there at the start. I hate how they have made Hope seem like she's so alone in the world. I get she's lost a lot of people but they make it seem like none of her family has come to see her since & I hate that.
