No it's true the original mighty morphin power rangers was adapted from the super sentai Zyuranger so since they reused the old footage for the show there are a lot of signs of the original series. Btw if anyone is interested the sentai Zyuranger was a lot darker themed than the U.S show and they didn't shy away from tough themes like death. For example, Bandora(Rita) became evil because her child was accidentally killed and she became consumed by rage and sold her soul to the devil. Also the green and red rangers are brothers and rather than lose his powers the green ranger dies when the Green candle burns out.

@@lordginza3013 Yeah, but the overall plot of Zyuranger was kind of uninteresting and didn't do very well in Japan. Zyuranger is not as popular there as MMPR is in America. Heck, the Japanese dub of PR (yes, it exists) is more popular than Zyuranger.

@@joshuafletcher1073 only sort of. Yeah, you can put Tigerzord's arms on Dragonzord Battle Mode or Dragonzord on top of Tigerzord but it doesn't really connect properly and you have to remove the Dragonzord legs. Also the Falconzord can't connect to them at all.

It's nice but seriously too expensive for most people. It's good that it exists, though, because the SOC Megazord is way better than the Legacy one and needs its own Dragonzord to combine with.

Yes. The Legacy Megazord is just the 2010 version with some better stickers and a few die-cast parts. And an inexplicably light grey Mastodon head. I actually use the 2010 Megazord in my Ultrazord display.

Personally I prefer the figures Hasbro made for the 4 inch lines with Beast Morphers and Dino Fury over those weird bulky bodybuilders.

There's a simple mod that works better and doesn't have visible twist ties. But it's not a bad suggestion.

No, they never made one without die-cast metal. The Megazord was made in all plastic first before being reused for the Legacy version, which added die-cast parts. The 2010 Dragonzord got cancelled due to "design issues" according to the team that made the toys. They originally intended for the 2010 Dragonzord not only to combine with the Megazord but also be motorized and have lights and sounds. But the Dragonzord works with either the 2010 or Legacy version since they're the same toy regardless.

There's a more permanent way to fix it if you open them up. There are some parts that aren't as tight as they should be but can be fixed if you want.

You only open it in Battle Mode. The Mega Dragonzord (or Dragon Megazord?) can't open the mouth because the regular Megazord head holds it shut.
