very nice. I like your honesty that you had a lot of things to fix and change. I am trying to finish my 650. 90% done and 90% to go. I am having fits with the flaps control geometry. I may have to purchase a new control set-up. Drilled it a second time and it didn't get better.

Hi, Bryan. As you know, I am interested in the Marvel Schebler carb. Any details on this, please? Mine's compression ratio 8.5 : 1 and 116hp at 2800rpm. What's the diffs on his? We love these engines! Great vid, thanks.

I’ve got a bead on a low time, well maintained 601-XLB with the Continental 0-200 100hp. Having a hard to me deciding on a more powerful Viking, UL, Aeromomentum, Franklin or increase hp by 30hp on current engine? Any and all advice greatly appreciated!

Maule aircraft was using the Frankin in their aircraft in the 70's until it was hard to get. Their aircraft could outrun others in their class and burn less gas. Wish they could go back to the Frankin. The Frankin was also lighter than other engines.

It's a PZL Polish built Franklin, not a NOS USA Franklin. Still, if it makes good power, doesn't burn oil excessively, and the owner is happy, then that's all that matters.
