In my opinion deputy speaker should be from opposition only so to maintain the balance rather than giving all power to rulling party . Because if they both would be from the same party it may decrease the debates over a particular thing Because in that case it would be easy for a rulling party to pass any bill . So for a good Democracy opposition is must.. Thnku sir

Public accounts (Article 266) ____________________________________________ Q2. Ans: Sir in my opinion the custom of appointing speaker from ruling party and deputy speaker from opposition to be followed as this time opposition has a good seats in this election and leader of opposition is also appointed this time so the opposition may be given a chance to appoint their deputy speaker, it will not break the custom and the question on democracy will also not occur, it will also give a powerful voice to opposition. ____________________________________________ Thank you so much sir for this lovely session ❤️

Hello sir 😊,in general opinion deputy speaker should be from opposition because it help to maintain -- 1) Ensuring Fairness and Impartiality: The Deputy Speaker, as a representative of the opposition, can help maintain impartiality in the proceedings of the house 2)Checks and Balances: Having a Deputy Speaker from the opposition serves as a check on the powers of the ruling party 3)Long-term Stability: It contributes to the long-term stability of the parliamentary system. By ensuring that both the ruling party and the opposition have roles in key positions like the Deputy Speaker, it reduces the risk of political deadlock or instability. and in my personal opinion it should be either ruling party or opposition party but Speaker or deputy speaker should not be biased because "to maintain harmony in house there is improtant that our custodian should not baised "☺ This was it for today's doubt 😄 See you sir in the next class ☺ Till then stay safe take care🥰

Sir i think its good if the Dep Speaker is from Opposition. Not only because of the convention, but because it will be a good balance and may help keep ruling party in check. The Opposition is strong this time unlike in 2019, so it would be better to allow Dep Speaker from their choice/consideration

Homework question: In my opinion, by studying all the articles and viewing this video, The tradition has been that if the Speaker is appointed from the ruling party, then the deputy speaker is appointed from the opposition.

Sir I think Deputy Speaker should be from opposition as if both would be from ruling party it would become easy for passing any bill or in debates also ruling party would be supported leaving little scope for debates. If deputy speaker will be from opposition there would be a check on speaker's action and would also have scope for debates.

there must be deputy speaker from the opposition because as we can see the the majority has majority in the loksabha , they can misuse or suppress thee voice of opposition so to maintain or we can say to try to maintain the spirit of democracry we must not let the BJP govt. to end this beautiful consess at any cost.

I think deputy speaker should be from opposition for fair play of democracy

The speaker and deputy speaker should not be from Lok Sabha as it would subtract the representation of the constituency to which he/she belongs whenever discharging their functions in the voting process on any matter. Maybe, a person from Rajya Sabha or a person without political affiliation would do best -- like a nominated retired public service officer, or a person with some great achievement / great managing skills
