First snow of the year and we are going to see what the Legend 1/10 can do.

There are open vents on top and beside the motors. Running in snow and mud not advised.

were you driving on a 2S battery?

It's the battery packs that came with the RTR kit. I don't think they are 2s but I can double check. Or look on their site, good info on there.

You think maybe you can do better in snow if you add a bit of weight to it? I ordered mine yesterday and I'm anxious to try it out.

Yea I could try that. It's not a super heavy truck. I think it was maybe just beyond it's limits in that thick fluffy show we got in this video. It was enough to come over the top of the wheels. It may just not be a large enough truck to handle 5-6 inches. It did well in the slush and thinner snow however!

Which one do you think is better the 1:10 scale or 1:12

Ok so I saw the head lights and rear lights did those come with it or did you buy them separately??

Yeah they come with the car! You have to install them as they come in a separate bag of accessories. But its as easy as plugging in the wire and snapping the LEDs into the slots on the bumpers. So you can chose to have them on or not. In my other little short review video of this car I show them in a little more detail.

Yea I have seen one of those run at a local hobby store. Pretty dang cool. Sucker crawls over anything! If they made a kit for the Legend, id defiantly try it out!

I used mine in the snow and after one use I went to go use it next day and wouldn’t turn on. Did you have any issues ?

Hmm. I'm not sure. I made sure i brought it inside the garage and let the snow melt then took the leaf blower and blew the left over water off. Did you leave the batteries connected in the compartment? Wonder if any water got in there. The rest of the chassis is fairly sealed so unless there was water that pooled up and got through I wouldn't think it would make it not turn on. Have you tried charging the batteries and making sure they still light up on the usb charger? I think In the manual there are some different color fault lights that will show on the usb charging stick. Make sure none of those are showing.

Same thing happened to mine a couple weeks ago after ripping through snow. It'll turn on but barely. The headlights are super dim. When I charge the batteries the leds on the charger flash red. No green. I just ordered new batteries. I hope it's the fix. I only got to use it a couple times
