I remember the first time my dad and I finished this masterpiece, I was 6 years old. He was the one who beat Ganon, and after the Triforce assembled he handed me the controller. "Go get it!" is what he told me. Such memories, man...

This ending is absolutely brilliant because it gives an immense feeling of accomplishment and makes you look back at all the people you met and all the lands you conquered throughout your quest, and you realize that Link not only became a hero, but also a man. And when the credits starts rolling and the music kicks in, you can't help but get teary eyes.

The cutscene "YOUR UNCLE RECOVERS" then both Link and his uncle raise their swords gives me goosebumps every time.

Link is a true hero. He gains the complete Triforce, and what does he wish for? To undo all the vile damage Ganon inflicted on the world. What a man.

This is the ending that all other Zelda games are missing.

Gotta love how Koji Kondo's name appears right as the main theme kicks in. Proper.
@LordShadrach
I believe this music is Hyrule's national anthem.

I love that link just walks away from power with the master sword. His job was done.

At 35 years old I'm not ashamed to admit I shed a tear watching this. This game, the SNES, NES, and many games were a part of my childhood that I'll never get back but I can always look back on it with fondness. Thank You Nintnedo for so many memories.
