I don't blame her for not much caring for new sitcoms at all. she really did play one of the most iconic characters in one of the best written and performed sitcoms ever. most of the new shows are trash. despite all the controversy against Bill Cosby, that show was great, and we should at least respect the other actresses and actors that contributed to it.

Blessed! Ms. Rashad you are a question, and at once the answer😘. Alpha kappa Alpha at its best. Mam if you ever read this, I had a hard day at work. But because you were Mrs. Clair huxtable ESQ, I knew I could be Dr. me. My template for blackness rests on the Cosby’s and the most profound and dignified example you have set. I am pray to God that her is preparing me to lead black people into a brighter, dignified, and beautiful future. What I see everyday scares me. But I thank you for pouring one layer of my foundation. When I dreamed of my future, I dreamed of the images which you have shown us. You and your character were affluent, but what u gave us was much less about things, and more the way we should proceed. For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world and lose his soul😏 it was our soul which was shown on that screen 📺 every Thursday night!

AMAZING INTERVIEW. Her poise and presence is overwhelming. the fact that they still refer to Cosby as Mr. Cosby speaks volume. even Lisa refers to him as Mr. Cosby. WOW. Can you guys get Malcolm on please.

Xander Harrison hmm I haven't heard anything from the cast at all and I saw a vid of lisa yesterday from planethollywood paps and she completely ignored them and did not say yes or no to them asking her what she thought, I feel like she could care less about him I don't know

Yes! She was celebrated as tr wife and not treated like the help and that makes the biggest difference. The cane is my favorite show as well. Everything she did was with grace. Cosby was like a modern black family that you don't hear about. We do have wonderful lives under our struggle. We can live past out enablers.

You have to remember also that there are many many people who absolutely loath the Cosby Show, and for good reason. Interviewers always gently mention this to Phylicia. I wish they really questioned her about this. But they never do.

@100187965638039317089 You really don't know? I'll tell you if you are that naive. The Cosby Show was so successful because it always for the most part avoided the confrontional issues of race . Very very rarely the show would lightly talk about a racial struggle from the past. As if that was supposed to be enough. The show basked in this smug upple middle class elitism. It was perfect for the Reagan era. The kids would make mistakes and the wrongs choices when they were older but it always worked out for the best. Real life is just not like that all the time. The show was meant to flatter a non progressive audience. So in all honesty The Cosby Show did more damage than good.

How do you know that you !d!ot? Condola Rashad literally does everything herself. She went to college and studied her craft and auditioned for everything role she has gotten.
