Mumuji you were the epitome of beauty, grace, and elegance in all your scenes and dance numbers. You exuded such sensuality that it was required without ever appearing grotesque and crude. Your journey was from ground to peak, unlike your contemporaries. Even in this interview, you are so down to earth! It is our big regret( I wish it was yours too) that you left films and we fans way too early for wifely duties and bliss and motherhood only to keep thinking about all the time you hopelessly. One of your contemporaries paled before you by a very big degree but still flaunts the crown of '..... Girl without possessing a trace of it. Her Hindi is still obnoxious even after spending more than half a century in the industry. In mujara dances your addayen simply mesmerized us. Just try to recollect ' Agar dilabar ki ruswai' from Khilauna. In 'Mai tere ishq me' you were a perfect Indian lady lover pining for the love of her male lover and in the same film you titillated us with ' Motiyonki ladi hu mai'. We are still selfish enough to wish you were back among us in your 60's and 70's looks. When our neighboring country still carries your sweet memories to experience the joy of nostalgia what about the people of your homeland? May you live long happily and with sound health to be among us now and then like you are now on a Pakistani channel.

Does anyone else feel so relieved and happy about seeing NATURAL people, ageing gracefully and with acceptance? NOTHING can look better than what Allah swt has destined for us. There´s a true confidence, shukr and dignity in just accepting all the wrinkles, the loose neck skin and everything else that is after all natural. Both Rehana ji and Mumtaz ji look so dignified and confident, mash´Allah. No excessive touching of the hair all the time, no big gestures with the body and hands, no fazool ki English zabardasti boolna and just sitting with tameez. I do wish however, that they would´ve asked her about her dance training. Did she ever learn classical or anything else? She is one of the most natural dancers of cinema, who always made it look like it was just intuitive.

They were actually 3 heroes who worked with Mumtaz establishing her as a heroine: Dilip Kumar, Rajesh Khanna and Jeetendra. She's got grace. Always outshining, always winning. If Mumtaz wants to do one more last movie it will be great to also see Reena Roy as her friend in the movie since they're very close in real life and did only Nagin together.

It is a Great interview to have watched from start to end and a most pleasant one and held in a homely environment! Mumtaz jee who turned out to become a living legend from a state of mediocrity , which in itself an unparalleled achievement, is and has been always a pleasant personality to hear from! Perhaps one of the few princesses from Indian films who provided an elegant class of entertainment! It is great feeling to see an Indian actor getting so much love from a region that had been our own flesh and blood once upon a time and now politically separated!
