The Lehmann sending off wasn't even the weirdest part. Made a foul to 'take one for the team' but he actually got the goal cancelled when it should have stood.

@@markhughes6892 He had no choice. Following the rule book, if it is a red cardm immediate stop of play and red card. He cannot let the game go and hand it over later.

The referee absolutely had a choice..wait a couple seconds and give advantage. The goal counts and caution the keeper. The referee had already blown the whistle so now has no choice but to send off the GK. The Laws of the Game (not rule book) do not require immediate stoppage of play for this situation.@@humorpalanta

No idea. There is an actual slight contact, which might just coincide with the slight disturbance of balance. Note that the supposedly diving player still kinda lands on his feet. This is, if so, really well done. Following the rules, I suppose that it is a foul because of contact and at least partial intention by Bravo. There was no way he could have played tha ball regularly, but there certainly was some way he could hit the opponent's player.

Luckily nowadays rules have changed a bit. There's no penalty + red card anymore if you are fighting for the ball which is a good rule in my opinion. 💪

There really needs to be more on the side of if you get the ball it's not a free kick. Like so many of these the keeper gets the ball first then about half a second to a second later the striker just runs into the keeper. These aren't slouches they have the reaction speed to simply jump to avoid the tackle but they don't because they know it's always a free kick and a red card. Game as far too soft if you can't slide tackle win the ball and for it to be seen as a great tackle there is something very wrong with the game

7:15 Possibly, here your statement applies. You can argue that 5:50 does not have to be judged like that. Otherwise, you cannot unlimitedly stretch and/or lift your leg at full speed, you know? But there is little more than that here. Maybe you remember that tackle by Hummels against Mbappé? He did not first hit the ball and then the opponent. And you simply cannot tackle with your leg through the legs of your opponent. But actually, he is celebrated for that serious foul play. I doubt that there is too much softness on that part.
