Jack Endino has worked with Nirvana, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, L7, Mudhoney and so many of the biggest bands in the Seattle Grunge scene.
This week, he releases his latest solo album "Light Myself on Fire". He talks to Justin Colletti about his approach to recording, mixing and mastering in details.

Jack is a great guy. And so knowledgeable. The musicians that record with him are going to learn alot. He is a great musician and in the studio....he is like a gourmet chef in a kitchen. Glad he is still doing his thing.

great interview, out of all the documentaries and interviews i've seen him in, this is the first one i've heard him mention he was in a band. never knew that. Jack is only 3 years older than Kurt, same age as Chris Cornell, so he's basically their peer. He's always kinda positioned as an Elder of the grunge scene who gave the younger kids a shot in documentaries lol but in reality he was a peer fighting the same musical battle
