@@Harvey_Mod I am Oinkee. I don’t think Aquaman wants the match cus he doesn’t really play MKX much anymore. Closest Kotal to beating me was LLCoolJ, we went 5-4. Most of the time w MarHeated I win 5-3 or 5-2. Same w NicktooQuick. Any other Kotal is lucky to get a match.

Im completely positive this won't be looked at or read but The community would love to see a Who's The Best type competition where players who have made they name for themselves with these chars battle it out to see who's the actual best with that char. See who's the actual Top Bo Rai Cho or who the best Predator. Just a thought.

My one issue with this is a question over how we go about measuring this. By what metric are determining the "best" player of a given character? Are we looking at the player's performance with that character across all variations, or just one? Are we focusing on mirror matches only? Pseudo-mirrors?

@@kylenguyen7371 We give the players a simple first to five with the Variation they use the most. The player who wins moves on to the next round and so on. The judgement comes to whoever wins the last first to 5 set. That player wins title of best with said char.

@@Rain_Over_The_Frosted_Heavens I disagree with this metric; being the best in a psuedo-mirror using only a single variation on demonstrates that they know that one variation, and is not a means of measuring how well they perform with a character across all variations. It also ignores the variety of match-ups presented in by a greater environment of tournaments or online/ranked play, because the participants in your proposed system don't have a means of counter-picking or otherwise responding to less favorable match-ups between each others' variations. A more realistic metric for "best [character]" would assess each player's performance across all variations, against a wider variety of match-ups, as opposed to locking each player into a given variation.
