All facts. The arm drag is the anti big man technique whether you want to take the back or go for takedown. Save your vertebraes when these monsters sprawl on you or your heads in the wrong position and you get a free adjustment. arm drag. Woooooooo

Never been a fan of double legs in BJJ…too many people with nasty guillotines at my gym.
@crakface7 ай бұрын
@smokinlion8889 it's definitely an art in itself. Coaches remind you to keep your head and posture up when you shoot but you're still going to have to take alot of losses before you master posture and the follow up for when they decide to jump on your neck anyway
@SwordTune7 ай бұрын
@@smokinlion8889You gotta be quick with your doubles to get your head too far in to guillotine.
@InsertDeafultName7 ай бұрын
@crakface I love arm drags as well, and they can be as efficient as they are effective. However, anytime you arm drag like Arroyo demonstrated, it also opens you up to an arm drag from the opponent if they're faster. That doesn't mean the move is bad, but I'm looking for arm drag grip variations to prevent that counter from being relevant

As a former wrestler for about 20 years that isn’t a arm drag takedown. It’s a arm drag setup to a trip or leg takedown. Further,it’s very easy to counter, I did it all the time. Don’t get upset, I fully admit I wouldn’t stand a chance against you in a match, however, you wouldn’t get an arm drag either.
