They are also known as Cozad ramps because they were first developed by the builders of Cozad RGN heavy haul trailers. The purpose is to help lift the nose of the trailer up high enough so that as you back under the trailer you don’t tear up your frame, fenders, or the nose of your trailer. The “big strappers” with the fancy rides like this truck put them on for the same reason.

The Ramps are good for rolling up the head of the RGN. Also great to have when doing drop and hooks when trailers are lower than the 5th wheel. I have a set on my truck. I do a ton of drop and hook with loaded flat beds of steel.

To this date that is my absolute favorite truck that you guys have done

& possibly one of the best to ever come out of yur hands/ shop🎉😮

The ramps coinside with the rollers on the front of the detachable trailer front, they help raise the trailer off the ground and just makes it easier to hook up to the trailer. Great looking truck guys id be proud to put my RGN behind it .

I love that the front bumper is tucked in and is flat with the front of the hood and doesn't stick out on the corners

Daaam she looks gooood. My favorite color of all the Pete's you all have done. Wasn't sure if I was going to like the orange frame with the purple. But I'll say it again daaaaaam she looks goood and this is coming from a KW guy... Then on the interior shuuuu amazing job. Love the orange floor. Knocked this one out of the park. But what do we expect from you all. Nothing but sweet and beautiful Pete's. All are show stoppers. Can't wait to see what's next to be finished.

I love everything about it. A couple of things worth mentioning. The front bumper thingy that pulls bumper up, the flooring is awesome, the color is delicious, the stance and posture of this beast is spot on. You guys are great at what you do. Nice job.

RGN ramps are for the detachable necks that sit on the ground on the front of the necks have rollers those rollers go up the RGN and into the fifth-wheel

I like orange, but I'm not sure about the orange chassis and purple. It's starting to grow on me. I absolutely love the legendary purple. What an awesome color... Peterbilt did a great job with all of the legendary colors.

That truck looks so awesome. I'm not really a purple fan but that color combo is on point for sure, especially with the stainless/chrome accent. I wish i had better luck with ceramic coating but they've all either failed quickly or made the paint look hazy or clooudy in short order.

Trucks in the UK have the ramps on the back and are known as skids,but with air suspension on the rear they can be taken of but the main job is to lift a trailer that's been dropped to low

RGN ramps are mostly for mechanical removable gooseneck trailers, generally they are not needed on a hydraulic removable gooseneck

Should’ve silver-ceramic coated the hot side of the turbo and down pipe.

The ramps are more for mechanical detach trailers they have rollers on the front to roll up and down when separating the trailer

looks great but if you try to back under a detach trailer that is sitting low enough to take advantage of those ramps the fifth wheel pin will catch the flat plate you have on between the fifth wheel and rear of truck. looks great for show

They are for lifting low trailers to get them the correct height.

Some rgn trailers are wider and would take those fenders off and hit the tires
