Here's a scary thought. Super Vegeta, Namek Goku and SSJ Bardock helping them with his support buffs. That sounds scary with how much these units can combo in the right situation. Granted its about as durable as a wet napkin. But it would hit like a flaming dumptruck.

For the lock in to work you need Nameku's unique gauge to be full. Yours weren't, that's why your opponent could switch.

My main team for ‘normal’ pvp is ULUI, Red Beast, and this Goku with Zenkai Blue Namek Goku, LFSS4 Goku and LF Bardock

You should try LF Nameku, LF Super Vegeta, and LF Green SSJ Trunks. Not the best team, but just a fun little one. Triple SSJ goats on one team.

Hi, Raiyuden. May I suggest a team consisting of the green and red world tournament Goku (green) and Piccolo (red) with Yellow Jiren? I main this team for a total of 4 DBs that can be destroyed, 4 stat buff wipes, and a damage buff from Goku. It's constant pressure while keeping my enemies in a neutral power state. The match will always be in your control if you play it right.

I’ve been running namek goku with super vegeta ever since I got vegeta and I can confirm goku performs much better

Goku was meant as a counter to UVB. Then the game decided to release units that are immune to Ki Reduction which basically was big L for Namek Goku. He also lacks type Neutrality anywhere in his kit, but that said.... you shouldn't even compare this Goku to the newly released Super Vegeta. This Goku as a unit is leagues above that super vegeta. Their kit has absolutely NO similarity. Vegeta's gauge charge type is straight up bad. Goku's gauge is extremely easy to charge up. And with the release of UI Goku and for as long as he stays in the meta, all Melee units will have a hard time doing a combo.

Don’t be delusional they can only do so much as well as keeping the fact that the characters are SUPER SAIYAN! You have to realize that as much as you want their kits your way that takes away the point of them only showing so much in SSJ form
