The guy talking about the influence of Blues, Jazz, Punk, and Folk and how its all tied together even including "ART DECO". IS so amazing in how open culturally they are in a region that gets labeled as conservatives in nature.

Love Fuller's bowed solo in Hoboes. He's so enjoyable to watch, I was really into his old band (The Two Man Gentlemen Band) and when I found out he had joined the Shack Shakers, one of my favourite bands ever, I was thrilled!

Caught these guys when they opened for Rev Horton Heat, at the Southgate House in Newport when they were touring off the Swampblood album. Fantastic Show (*pretty much upstaged RHH if I'm honest) Love that JD is such a good ambassador for Paducah. My father was born and raised there in the 40's and 50's It is a quirky and awesome place. The Austin, TX oi Kentucky if you will.
