I didn't realize until now from watching another video that you can put the speaker holder holding the 4 small speakers and put it facing upward without the speaker to fill in the gap of his chest. Very cool that Magic Square thought about that.

Thanks for the helpful review! This guy is the best-looking Legends Jazz but I got their old Soundwave and the plastic Magic Square used felt really gross in-hand, so if Jazz is still that same gummy nylon plastic, I'll gladly pass on it and just save up for when FansToys' Jive gets reissued.

Great review as always! I have the first one and really like it, but I'm not the biggest fan of the metallic blue windows. If I was choosing today, I'd get the newer one, I think the black windows look much better. But maybe not better enough to justify me buying him again, we'll see! I love how this toy looks, but I find it just about the hardest to fit together in alt mode of the few Magic Square figures I have. Feels like I have to really squish things together and that everything's just a little bent with that gummy plastic they use. But I still like the toy a lot!

I think my favorite is Jazz, 😉. Great review, comparing both is a good idea. I'll always prefer toon colors, it's the best!

Nice and informative review, if you still read and reply to comments here, is the roof of the car just painted clear plastic? I love the look of it, but I'd like to know if there's any possible durability issues before I get it. Once again, handy review!

Think I’m gonna use the new one as my SG Jazz.

Not sure I understand what the new one is going for. The original is more toon. The new one looks good but it's not the toy. So, why the redeco?

Is the chest filler/speaker a complete grey plastic, or just a painting?
