I wish this movie got made along with John Carpenter's the Creature from the Black Lagoon.

I wanted to meet Hellboy's kids. He could've train them how to fight and use weapons and to pass down the torch to them so that they can have their own spin-off series called Hellkids.

From the moment Hellboy 2 ended I wanted a third film, there just felt like so much more story that could be told. I would have loved to have seen Hellboy fight alongside his twin children, and find a way to save the world and avoid the destructive destiny everyone was warning him and Liz about. I have no plans to see the rebooted movie with David Harbour, Ron Perlman was, and always shall be Hellboy

they should animated hellboy 3, you get around any age problems with Ron Perlman and Bruce Campbell, the larger scope would be more doable Del Toro has good experience in animation thanks to the Tales Of Arcadia trilogy and he seems to have a good working relationship with netflix

Honestly the best way to do hellboy 3 at this point I feel would be a Animated film much in the vain of Hellboy Sword of Storms and Blood and Iron. Due to it being Animated Ron Pearlman wouldn't have to go through all the makeup and other parts he was worried about and we know the cast would return because they did for the other two Animated films

I want Crooked Man to be just as weird and fucked up as the comic. That one was spooky and weird with wonderful Appalachian gothic atmosphere and that’s what this movie needs.

I heard that Guillermo del Toro was planning to make a third HellBoy movie if Pacific Rim Uprising was successful at the box office. Unfortunately, it failed.

I enjoyed this week's Legend of Fandom blockbuster buster and we all wish that hellboy 3 could have happen hopefully but I recommend if you do a legend of Fandom next time about the mask 2 with Jim Carrey instead of the worst sequel that we got in 2005 with Jamie Kennedy.

The fatherhood angle would have been a great twist to the character, shame we'll probably never see it come to fruition. The reboot just screamed "trying too hard" from the get-go, even with David Harbour as a pretty good alternative to Ron Perlman, so without even that much going for it, I can't say this second reboot has much hope.

Wow I did not know any of that. I would have like to seen that third film with Hellboy's children. That would have been a great end to the trilogy. I need to revisit those films both live action and animated, not planning to watch the reboot. I do want to look into the comics as well

Personal thoughts for the upcoming Hellboy The Crooked Man I like that the script is being overseen but people who worked on the comics, Brian Taylor has a unique style and could capture the darkness yet charming parts of the comic & character well, the cast is good though I’m sure why they haven’t announced the titular Crooked Man yet. Jake Kesy could never replace Ron Perlman but I’m sure he’ll be good in the role The thing that hurts this upcoming reboot for me is that Ketchup Entertainment (an actual distributor) is over seeing the release which is concerning since the last movie they released Hypnotic (along with their other back catalog) has done poorly at the box office which gives me the impression that even if it’s good, it’s chances of being successful aren’t the best

What I’m hoping for in the reboot is actually showing the origins of Hellboy and the BPRD. As someone who hasn’t read too many of the comics, I think that’s something interesting to explore. Professor Broom starting it, Hellboy being trained as an agent, his friendship with Liz and Abe, and some of the BS that comes with the job.

You mixed up the two scripts for Hellboy III (del Toro's and Andrew Cosby's). Del Toro's version would follow HB2's "Zinco epilogue" (with Rasputin's ghost and Kroenen in a giant mecha) while Cosby's was an adaptation of The Wild Hunt arc. Long story short: when the studio rejected GDT's script, they hired Andrew Cosby to write an alternative (cheaper) script and GDT refused to direct or produce the film without being his script. With del Toro leaving, they only changed Cosby's script. However, even with this error, I must praise that you gave the correct reason for the cancellation of the third film, many people blame Mike even though he doesn't even have the movie rights (to the point that GDT ignored ALL his criticisms in the production of the second film).

Weird coincidence, the original Hellboy was on ITV4 last night (maybe someone there is an ERod fan?) and remains very pleasing ("I've been here three decades and can still only manage two sides") Weirdly enough, looked up the trivia and it sounds odd to say it but David Hyde-Pearce's honourable intentions may have partially sunk this franchise. To explain, he didn't want a credit because he felt Doug Jones did a great job capturing Abe Sapien in his physical performance. While this is decent on his part, he also decided it meant he wouldn't do promotion or attend the premiere. It's a shame as I do think his vocal performance is fantastic. As for a third film, it's interesting as the first and the second films are different in tone. I like to think the third would be able to dial up the dark whimsy. With regard to the next reboot, as much as I love Del Toro and Perlman I do think it's time to move on. Lessons also need to be learned- people need to get away from the idea that rated R will automatically mean better. Finally, fab work on this video E-Rod, always enjoy this series!

An easy solution is to make the movie animated. Ron perlman could do the voice without having to put the heavy make-up, the others voice actors be be in it too! He will be happy and fans too. A win-win situation for everyone 😀

oh man, the crooked man is by far my least reread story. the number one problem I had with it was the art is 'ugly'. I can't stand to look at it. It is also really sad that studios are this stupid that they'd say 200m is too much, the second people hear Del Tor and Ron Perlman are involved the theaters would be packed.
