LEGENDS OF THE OLD WEST presented by Black Barrel Media. In 1870, a “family” called the Benders moves to Labette County in southern Kansas. There are four people in the group, but no one in the area fully understands the relationship between them. They build a small cabin near a well-used trail and offer the space as an inn for travelers. Before long, strange activities and criminal acts are reported at the Bender cabin. And then, travelers go missing.

Hey man just wanted to let you know that I really appreciate these videos. I work in a refrigerator and freezer everyday. I listen to lots of things including your videos. Soon I will be running out of them. Just the week-to-week videos. And I'll be grateful for that as well. But i just wanted to let you know that you give me something to listen to when I'm bored out of my mind, the tips of my toes are freezing as well as my fingers and everything in between. You should cover the story of Charles E. Boles also known as Black Bart. He was a stage coach robber throughout California, always traveled on foot, and left behind poems after his robberies. I think it would be a pretty neat story for the podcast and one that people might find fascinating.

That's crazy I am obsessed with Laura ingall Wilder and I had never heard story about Pa going to go kill or try to find serial killers I guess there's a lot I still need to read up on
