you'd think by now Sara would realize she could just time jump to them wheeling Laurel's body away, taking her onto the ship, bringing her back like Gideon brought her back from the dead right now, and just keeping Laurel as part of the Legends, she won't interfere with the time stream as she'll be outside it and traveling around in it. Thus no damage or change to the timeline.

Fordo007 I never thought of that. But would she have to stay on the ship outside the time stream at all times for her not to cause any abaritions as to not upset the time stream? So she would have to stay on the ship forever until she dies basically.

hulkcrusher69, you could take her back to visit. Everyone has coped and dealt with her death, won't change anything. Rip choose the original Legends as they had no impact on history, it would be the same with Laurel, she'd be 'legally' dead to history but the people she knows and loves would know she's alive and with the Legends, who are made up of people just like her who have no futures according to history. Laurel visiting should be no more an issue than Ray Palmer visiting given he is just as dead to the world as she is.

Which is ironic, since back on "The Flash" he was pretty much a two-dimensional bad guy compared to Leonard... Forcing the two to undergo character development from being Legends, which included Rory falling HARD as Chronos before being redeemed, and then splitting the duo for real by killing off Snart certainly pushed Mick's character development beyond what people expected. Result is that he's been one of the highlights since partway through Season 1, and perhaps THE highlight throughout Season 2...

I thought they were heading that way to with Chicago episode. Maybe they thought their bond worked better being platonic. It has all the strengthens with a lot less drama, which is what hurt Hawkgirl's relationships with both Hawkman and Ray.

Just because Mick could work out a "more than platonic" relationship doesn't mean it has to follow the usual formula. I was so excited to see a very unique(not typical american melodrama) relationship between Amaya and Mick. Looks like "unique" was too risky for the producers x(

DEADtoRISE08 yeah but they reintroduced the quantum splicer which materialize when they become firestorm via transmutation, so it still there in their bodies. It's a cool explanation taking us back to season one when they just learn about this ability

@@tochiokeke5468 I’ve been waiting for someone to bring this up! The EMP could still be a reason they *don’t* fuse… Stein could easily note the EMP likely damage the splicer and that it’s not *safe* to form Firestorm under those conditions

I think they have smaller quantum splicers on them so that way, it doesn't get damaged when one is wearing and they're not firestorm. Also, it's easier to keep in you at all times if it's small.

You want to imprison an evil Rip Hunter, who has no issues with killing the Legends, in the brig of his own time ship? Think it over. Had they taken the spear piece back, Rip would just go back to the ship to steal it again. AT THIS MOMENT, their only options are to kill him, or let him go with the piece.

The quantum splicer is the device Firestorm wears on his chest I liked the twist of having Rip kill Sara, it shows how far he's gone after Thawne has rewritten his memories

the only way i can rationalize the quantum splicer being dead is that jacks wears it all the time under his clothes and we just don't see it which is why it's on his costume when they're firestorm

I felt like vixen and steel came out of nowhere I haven't seen any scenes that indicate any romantic feelings between them , it seemed like they were building up Amaya and mick , she even kissed him and now it's kinda gone nowhere .

My biggest complain with this episode is: WHY IN THE HELL DIDN'T JAX JUST SHOOT HIM IN THE LEG TO STOP HIM. I swear to god, this show sometimes has the stupidest moments in the script...

One thing that kinda bothered me about this episode is how they *justified* sidelining Firestorm… It’s like in Fire Emblem Fates where a silenced Corrin cannot use a Dragonstone…. The stone just keeps his sanity and prevents an *accidental transformation* On that note… As far as I’m aware Jazz and Stein’s ability to merge isn’t dependent on the Quantum Splicer. Granted merging *without* it would likely not be good as it’s obviously there for a reason… but the way Firestorm was explained to work in The Flash… this always rubbed me the wrong way…

Ry Sty 5 actually. first time (barry was a kid), Future Barry v reverse flash (we didnt see it but it happened) season one Barry telling her that they're okay, Season 2 barry saving her, season 3 Barry with Reverse flash killing her.
