I'm so glad Zari got an episode. They really hadn't done anything with her yet cause so much else was going on, but now she's probably my favorite character. I was going into this episode thinking it was going to be a dull filler, but again, probably now my favorite episode. I love me some ensemble bonding time

Seriously though, is there *any* era that Sara can’t pull off? Those 70s style clothes and the blue eye looked great on her. And this episode just made me love Zari so much more. She is a literal QUEEN. She even ships #AvaLance! Her BROtp moments she has with Sara were so adorable. And that #AvaLance moment, I actually died from a cuteness overload. I want more. 😂

I know this is the silliest show and it's part of why I love it so much, BUT! This episode was so goddamn clever. First of all, a Groundhog Day episode has been done so many times, it's not that easy to pull off. The Groundhog parts weren't Brilliant but still a LOT of fun, and I thought it was smart to go by each scene/reboot quickly, so kudos writers. Also, 'kill me now' *gets killed* had me in stitches :) Second, they needed to solve the whole deal with Zari as a (non)member of this team without being overly dramatic or with too drawn out storylines. This felt like a natural blend somehow. And with the right amount of heart, too! Meanwhile we as an audience grow to love the character (even more), not because of some epic back (love) story, but because we can relate to her, and uniquely to her, right here right now. A far cry from being forced to care about someone (*cough Carter/Kendra*) just because they're part of the team now. AND she gets to keep her personal motivations for being on this team (2042) even when it's true she now 'bonded with the team' (which was necessary for her, and us!). That's pretty solid. I feel like the writers did an amazing job resolving all of these issues in a Groundhog episode no less. Mostly those are just filler episodes, lbh. And they still took time (with care!) for other character development, Ray/Mallus/Sara, Nate/Amaya, Avalance, all of it felt like natural progession too, it wasn't just shoved in. I may be a liiiiittle bit biased but I swear this show is getting better and better. Also, Abba! Also, Gideon MVP!! I didn't think she could get any cooler after the previous episode but here we are. Also, AVALANCE!! Yeah I'm still processing that LOL

My crush on Zari was bad enough before. And this episode increased that significantly.

This episode made me so curious about Ava’s backstory. When they were talking about loopholes she said “Not that I haven’t been tempted to change the past.” I’m sure just about everyone would be tempted for one reason or another and the line probably didn’t mean anything...but now I’m dying to know more of her story and what she’d change if she could.

I'm so glad you appreciate the Zari Tomaz content you "didn't know you needed." Personally, I was aching for it. She still had a "new girl" kind of thing about her and she wasn't really part of the crew yet. Confronting that issue during this episode was important to me. I'm glad she hasn't just given up on trying to fix the future and save her brother as I assumed she did. I also like how they finally made her official and took what could have taken months of episodes and adventures and managed to condense her integration with the crew into a believable one-hour story. Excellent use of the Time-Loop Trope, BTW. It is both gratifying and satisfying that she learned so much about the crew and revealed so much about herself during this episode. Kudos to the writers for pulling this one off so expertly. And kudos to my new fave character, Zari. Yay! She finally became a Legend!

What I love about thos show is that it isn't named after any specific hero. They can have any of the cast be the center of any episode and it not take away from any main character. You really can't do that with Arrow or Flash or Supergirl.

Loved zari in this episode but her death in this episode would have been a great way to snap the legends out of all the extra stuff there going through it would have giving them purpose the rest of the season and her sacrifice would have made this the most powerful episode ever of legends

After the hiatus both supergirl and legends have some good episode. It was awesome seeing Tala Ashe carrying this episode, I hope in the future the actress for Amaya gets her chance to carry an episode. But did both of these shows got new writers or old writers back who were fired by Andrew Kreisberg, 'Cause the episodes are well paced and written

Drumknott: I wouldn't, sir. That looks like one that would go to the judges. After all we've seen Sara in Mallus' beach front getaway twice now and aside from a brief possession she seems none the worse for it. Almost like the all powerful god thingy is having second thoughts... Also I kinda want to see more of Micks' novel. Hell I wouldn't put it past this show to reveal it's, uh, inspired by the only human-shaped alien he's met!

I realize this may be a bit off topic and if this annoys anyone I apologize, but I can’t help but wonder due to Sara now willing to help Zari change 2042 for the better, if once her goal is achieved, she will meet the CW version of Teth-Adam aka Black Adam? I’m curious about if and when she and him will meet, either before or after she and the legends go up against Mallus, though I wouldn’t be surprised if the CW version of Teth- Adam is introduced as either part of Mallus’s Cabal OR he is set up as the next main villain for season 4 at the end of this season. I speculate because I would be interested to see the Legends version of Adam and Zari meet and over time develop their romantic relationship. Anything is possible I mean I didn’t think I would ever see a tv show version of Damian Darhk since comic wise I believe he only appeared once and even then aside from his personality they did a complete overhaul in comparison to his comic book counterpart.
