Mackie Messer i hope there comes a white prodigy like jan owe, but chances are slim

The problem is, with the new rules and material being a prodigy isn't enough anymore. You need to work extremely hard as well and asians are culturally more willing to torture themselves for success. LOL

Kinda strange seeing players like Schlager and Kreanga whom I grew up with playing in the Legends Tour, where players like Saive and Waldner play. Times are moving fast.

They haven't really figured out the camera angle yet in table tennis. In my opinion it's best from the the corner and low, then you realise how difficult the sport is. And also when they serve..... That is the biggest bullshit shot from the camera that's possible. Starting with a close up when they get into position and then they change it immediately when they throw it up or make contact. You can't see the serve and appreciate the speed and tactic behind it. A good example of it is at 3:12

Davíð Jónsson strongly agree that 80% of the time the viewing angle should be from the table corner. German open seems to comparatively have more scenes like that. Most of the video angles in ITTF are shot from the high top back of the player which is almost the worst angle to watch.

It is best for technique study maybe. But the view angle from a corner is actually quite narrow (we cant see lob properly for example) and adjusting the zoom in game is quite difficult and annoying.

Why does the ball sound a little bit weird for me? Is it just because of the audio quality or is it the ball and the rubber?

I sort of grew up with speed glue and normal (not plastic) balls. So I’m pretty sure, they were allowed to use speed glue and maybe they even used here the old ball which I actually very miss.

+Side Spin 傳統和祖先 Je suis presque d'accord, en French league c'est pas mal. Etant belge et les commentateurs le sont surement, je trouve ça honteux, pas de rythme, ils ne valent pas la qualité jouée en face d'eux...
