Probably one of the absolute best runs I've had I managed to get both Lightning Phalanx and Mirage Shot, along with epic Exit Wounds. I only wish I had been playing at a higher heat, because it could have sailed through higher heats still.

@@brewdaly1873 I've had run with Lightning Phalanx, Mirage Shot, Exit Wounds, 4 casts, and maybe a couple of Chaos damage boosts.

I think Poseidon sword is just not AS good at the speedrun level, so it’s not talked about as much. But that doesn’t mean it’s bad

You don't have to be moving, as long as the speed buff would be active in the moment you hit the enemy, you get the bonus.

Doesn't get affected by Lasting Consequences. Could be useful but it goes back to what I said during this video that I'd still rather get something that prevents being put into that position. At very high heat, Tight Deadline is always a problem so trying to turtle out a run isn't really viable.

You can use keepsakes to get more than 4 gods in the pool, anyone you have already taken a boon from becomes part of the pool. Purging boons does not remove the god from the pool.

Obviously take Artemis' Keepsake, and remember that it won't show up unless you already have a cast boon. Other than that, there really isn't a way to force it.

Ooh buddy, you get the Ares/Artemis Duo boon, Hunting Blades, on Achilles and it's just insane. Toss Mirage Shot on there and it's almost too easy.

IIRC most of it does count. Side Hustle actually does work for each mini chamber. I think the main exceptions are from Keepsakes like Lambent Plume or Pierced Butterfly, which don't count until you finish the chamber.

@@edenglass3098 They can, if you have charges left. So if you have a choice of running another set of rooms or keeping a powerful charon buff like +1 cast, then you definitely skip.

That's what I was just thinking! I think it's mostly unreliable to get for not much benefit compared to the other things he's going for in this build

Agree, it’s very annoying to go for Exit Wounds and then the game just won’t give it to you

Exit Wounds is good but IME (and this is borne out by this video) most enemies are dying too fast for you to take advantage of it. It's free damage if you're spending your time hitting special but you could just as well be casting. The only time exit wounds really generates good extra damage is bosses.

No you can't, it's hardcoded and we've seen the code. 💀Also, miniboss rooms have a slightly reduced chance of giving duo boons for complicated reasons.

Seems to me that Haelian never tries to get Fully Loaded, he always makes it out to be extremely hard to get in a run, but I’ve never really felt like that’s true. It’s obviously has the regular dificulty of getting a legendary, but it’s so worth it considering it makes any cast run (especially with Stygian soul) go from good to amazing!!

I would think it's because going Arty for all of that is high rolling. Aphro feels like you need less luck. But maybe Hael will comment. I will say that one of my most fun runs ever was an absurdly lucky Pos sword run that had lightning phalanx, deadly reversal, mirage shot, fully loaded, and extra chaos cast. Also had d.edge and an epic RD b/c apparently game wanted me to win more. Basically perfect collection of boons, *but* IIRC, there was literally 0 boons to spare at the end of the run. Had a single boon not been offered when it was or had I had a bit worse door luck, then the package wouldn't have come together. So probably the odds of seeing all of this are very low. I don't know enough about how the chamber rewards get rolled to calculate it, and I'm too lazy to read c_gull's guide and figure it out for a YT post. But if you say that you need 10 things with a 25% chance to happen, then you are talking something like a 0.00009% chance. If it's only 8 things and a 50% chance, you are still talking about a 0.4% chance. I'd be curious to hear from Hael what he thinks a more reasonable ballpark is b/c these seem a bit *too* rare. But even trying for a run with a 2% chance to come together is not going to be fun.
