I was immensely inspired by ForrestFire101 growing up and Im sure you can see much of his influence in my video but more or less I wanted to take my video in a different direction. He pioneered this idea of Batman and Robin having a toxic relationship and making constant demeaning jokes at Robin but I just felt like that was greatly overplayed and especially with so many forrestfire clones out there, its almost endless to see that type of content......also Robin is more or less my favorite over Batman (but i didnt think "LEGO Robin" would get as many clicks lol) and also yes! Episode 3 I have BIG plans with Batgirl and Robin that I think would be HUGLY refreshing to see after all the lego hate on Robin. I wanted to lean more into Batman and Robin having more of a "friend" type of relationship. During the process of making this video I realized I wanted it to feel almost like later seasons of Rick and Morty (which I think have a great relationship when they play more on each other with banter rather than one making constant fun of the other). One last thing that I want to do to separate myself from other Lego Batman youtubers is that I want to make this all feel more like a "season" rather than a "series". I want to keep it all within the DC universe. No guests appearances from Spider-man or etc. Im aiming for it all to be one connective story with Deathstroke being a mix of "A death in the family" and the oldschool "Teen Titans" cartoon I grew up with. I never initially wanted to do it about Jason Todd, since Tim as always been my favorite but it kind of frustrated me that I could never read a Jason story about him being Robin. Its always him being Red Hood or his death...so more of less I just wanted to put more content of "Jason being Robin" type of content out there in the world. Im not sure if ill ever follow up this series after his death but I am excited to see where all this goes. Its more about the journey on this one. Over the course of these videoes I hope I can still balance the more serious character arcs with the humor but we shall see.

@@Cosmic_Cowboy I also grew up with forrestfire’s videos and I guess my taste in humor has changed to now I feel like it’s… not sure how to put it. Bruce and dick’s relationship was more like fun brothers back when dick was Robin while Bruce and Jason’s feels pretty close to the dynamic (Bruce not used to Jason but tries to his best to not make Jason feel insecure about being dick’s ‘replacement’) I would recommend reading Jason’s time as Robin before Death in the family was published, because despite how UTRH made the narrative of Jason being, well what people associate him being Robin was like, Jason was actually pretty reasonable & happy kid most of the time (especially when he got to meet Wonder Woman, kid was a big fan of her) till a guy abuses his girlfriend and Jason goes to stop the abuser since post crisis Jason had a abusive dad in a broken home and decided to run away. Pre crisis Jason was just dick Grayson 2.0 (same background and all, except he was a red head). Interesting to see what the season will intel with the connective story I’m planning on doing a long universe series, just something that I would see as a universe if various universes were in one place (like fewgooodfilms did) but so far I have ideas for it but actually doing them or writing ✍️ it is… troubling to put in paper.
