I still have the DVD lol I been playing it again recently and honestly it's just as much fun as I remember. I found a download on a website where you can get it for free without a disk. There's a little bit of modding involved but you can get it as long as you have a ps2

@@yellowpower3755 I've started imagining the Toa and Piraka are just as antagonistic as ever, the Piraka just know from experience that the Toa can kick their asses in a one-on-one fight, and the others will literally never let them be the one to kill a Toa. If one of them had the Toa Inika at their mercy, the others would try to swoop in, and the infighting would buy the Toa all the time they needed to recover and beat the shit out of them again. So they just don't even try. They obey the foghorn because they don't want to know what happens when they don't, and the activities look pretty fun anyways so why not?

@String Shepherd I think he means because in 2007 Bionicle have the Baraki and the Toa Mahri who in the story canon they fought underwater, the Baraki being sea creatures themselves like squids and stuff. The Toa Mahri being the Inika that you play as in this game but they look different and are geared up to go underwater.

For those of us who grew up with the first gen. bionicle, most of us were getting too old to care about the 2007 gen. I lost touch with the Mahri... very sad. Voya Nui had such an awesome story, hard to follow up on that.

Piraka was not in any of the films, you must have confused them with Rahkshi (by the way, they are also in this game). But yes, according to the original idea, the Piraka are really bloodthirsty and cruel bandits.

Yeah, it always annoyed me how they modeled all 6 Piraka with those ugly, huge, two toed feet when in the sets, only 3 of them had those feet.

The Piraka are 6 members of a species called Skakdi. They’re all highly amoral thieves and murderers who wind up working for an organization called the Dark Hunters for many many years, but eventually get sick of it and learn of the mask of life, so they leave the dark hunters to search for it. They’re all shakily part of a team, but fully willing to backstab each other and each want the mask for themselves. They also enslave and mind control the Matoran of Voya Nui to make their search easier and because they’re just a bunch of assholes. Piraka is a heavy Matoran slur to describe the worst kind of criminal, and they liked how it sounded so they call themselves that
