Something that never sat right with me is how non- lego that original boulder looks. The new one wins for sure!

The old one also have another cool mechanic: If the door closes it hits the ball and then the ball Automatically rolls down.

They’re both really cool, I think the older one is better though since it looks like it was designed to be played with while the new one looks more like a set to be displayed.

1:03 Indian Jones does not loose his hat in that scene, he looses his whip. Indy grabbing his hat is not in the original film. He actually grabs his hat in Temple of Doom when a similar door is closing. I think people have confused these two moments together in their mind.

When it comes to the minifigures, the old ones are better over all. The new ones are more detailed, but something doesn't quite fit.

What i like more about the old one is that there is more space between the boulder and the entrance of the temple. I do prefer the newer one all in all

The spikes sticking out of the wall next to the skeleton on the new set IS the booby trap. It's not not a play feature anymore

0:49 there are literally spikes coming out of the wall not even a mile-meter away from the skeleton
