I watched your video with my 4.5 year old son and I thought you would like to hear his comments. While he did think the table was cool the stand out points for him were. 1) he really digs your intro music. He had me rewind it at least 5 times before we could even get to the build and 2 more times after we finished watching the entire thing. He also made note of your "COOL" Star-Wars R2D2 coffee cup that made an appearance right after the 4 minute mark. Thank you for including so much of who you are in every project.

Lego search potential: master level. This is like a dream LEGO box. Growing up I had two massive LEGO boxes under my bed but they weren't covered boxes so they pretty much required a bed to slide under.

Yes, magnets über alles! Also, the empty voids on both sides under the top eat at me... add some drawers on those narrow ends? I'd put specific bits (say, gears/wheels) in those so less rummaging.

I don't have children or, therefore, grandchildren but this is a great idea. I'm building one for my wife who likes to do jewelry crafts and this givers her tons of storage in the bottom and plenty of space for current projects in the top. Plus, I can leave it the family room and it "hides" all the "junk". Think I may upgrade the visible wood to make it a little more in tune with our decor. Basic construction the same but veneer to upgrade the look and possibly solid hardwood legs. Will also add a power strip and a gooseneck light for the fine detail work. Mine will have a cork top versus the Lego sheets but I'm considering seeing if there are Lego pieces that can be used to assist with the jewelry builds. A way of "blocking" pieces in place could be useful. Guess I'll need to get up to speed on Lego pieces now too. Great project that can be adapted for a multitude of toys, games, crafts, etc. Thanks for putting the project on your site.

Love the idea, actually about 75% done with it however I’m learning new things the plans are lacking in detailed measurements for example I have never worked with dado curs before but with ALOT of test cuts I’m figuring it out. Also would be nice to have a list of accessories such as slide size LEGO plate and anything else I’m misssing
