Yes, definitely a good idea. When I finally manage to build my LEGO City and this goes into it, I'll add all teh details needed for story-telling around it. I would have definitely added fencing, but I love the other ideas, especially a clothes line, I've added it to my list of things I need to add to the City. Thanks for commenting.

That's a really great idea, and depending on what it ends up next door to, in my eventual LEGO City, I may well use your idea. Thanks, I was playing around with the idea of the overhang, 'coz I didn't like the look of the roof being flush with the edge of the walls, then I suddenly realised a row of plates would then fix the gap too! Thanks for commenting.

I think I'm going to have a bit of a compromise. You're right, it makes more sense to be on the back, but then the house would have no space at the front, so... I think the compromise should be to keep it on the side of the house, but turn it round so the doors open into the BACK garden and not the FRONT garden!

The original one came out in 1998 but hasn’t been in a set since 2006: www.bricklink.com/catalogItemIn.asp?P=x45pb03&in=S They re-released it in 2016 (with one less black pentagon!) for the German Football Collectable Minifig Series, and then used it once in 2023 in the series 24 football referee: www.bricklink.com/catalogItemIn.asp?P=x45pb07&in=S But since 2013, all other sets with a ball in them have used a plain one. 😞

That's a tricky one. It'l take a long time to build it in Stud.io, and even longer to make instructions! But I'll put it on my list of things to do, and if I get time I'll try to add it to Rebrickable. I think it looks really nice. I'm all for the classic spaceman look, so think they both need air tanks and the classic smiley face. There's a few nods to Classic space like teh blue/white colour scheme in the kitchen, but it's definitely a "Space Diner" and not a "Classic Space Diner" ! Not sure if I will get one, I wasn't going to place an order with Lego until the 1st June sets are released, and it won't be available by then. If I do end up getting one, I'll definitely need to add some things to it!

@@MinifigJez morning, yes the same ive bought privately also hanging on for June and reduced prices at other places. Wish they had included the airtanks and had them on a stand or something that would be cool.

Yes, Lego stopped making it in December 2023. You could still use a few parts and extend its roof, and give it extra walls.

That would be a MASSIVE house. LEGO don't sell them anymore, but if I did get two more, I think I'd do the same thing as this one, and then the two houses could be neighbours in my LEGO City!

Can you replace the light bluish grey brick by a medium nougat modified brick with two studs and ad a jumper plate for the shower head? The build looks real good!
