I notice in alot of these an early warning sign is the weight of the breach shifts the ground forward pre collapse. This may be something engineers already know. Something you might have already known. I did not. Just an observation

It was a little flawed, sand was used for 100% of the soil, you would have to use a mixture of all the soils found in a place like that to get an accurate result, and the dam would me a little more reinforced than that.

I like on how the Immense water current and pressure actually make the beams begin to buckle, the bridge begin to smash its itself into each other, and then collapses

I would love to see this done again, but with all the plates screwed down. That way you can see the structure of the dams when the water cant just move the entire thing.

I think you would have gotten more interesting results if you connected all the baseplates together, so that the entire build didnt just get pushed away by the water

The walls may not have actually broken…. But they leaked so much that it doesn’t matter. Defences were still defeated, and castle came down.

Water conservation at its finest, the high level is inundated and seeps through barriers at stages only to prevent further inundation downstream, by letting regular amounts of pressure through and away at various stages: meandering dams like beavers build are the best, but people can maintain similar variations at cost.
