If you watched the recent Sonic central (basically a nintendo direct but for just sonic) you would have a lot more context about this lol, its a really neat thing for lego to do though, its pretty cool

As someone else mentioned, watch the 23rd June Sonic Central vid at around 13:20 minutes in. I'd assume that the random brick bags are for the goofy looking sonic with the Eggman makeover they show near the end of that segment.

These ia the perfect oportunity to make prbably Eggman inspired mocs like the egg carrier or the egg pawns heck any egg pawn from the sonic heroes game or even as far back as building the E series robots like Gamma. Who knows maybe you can make sonic more eggman by building Metal Sonic or Metal Overlord which is cool.

Lego should make these special type of stuff (similar to the april fools horse) available to everyone if theres enough demand. I would buy even just the boxes

Eh, I think it is better to keep these sorts of weird items for the LAN members. If you join a LUG you can sometimes get access to similar items anyway. But I really wouldn't want Lego to just start selling these kinds of things. It is more interesting when they just give them away.

@@koloth5139I disagree A lot of people wanted the April fools horse With the horse, aside from the dog head, it looked incredible. Lego could've also made a normal version with a horse head. Also that set was sent to less than 10 people. LUG members can get this type of stuff? Like what for example?
