I own all Lego cars so far, but this one… just doesn’t look good and doesn’t look like the real car.

While printed elements will always be better, I don't think it justifies raising the price on any Lego set just for that reason. Just because something is more well made doesn't mean it was that expensive to produce. Custom independent products I can understand, because running a small business by yourself can be tough (the grind).

2:14 the windshield is the same one used in the Back to the Future Delorian, although it is a different color. It's as exclusive to this set as Captain Rex is to the Venator. 😂

How do you make something as cool as the Lamborghini and the Porsche plain looking? This goes for the Speed Champions versions also.

I wish Lego designers would work out how steering wheels work. They are either not in front of the driver (Speed Champions) or ridiculously low to the seat, as we see in this set.

Another minor criticism - the door windows should be deeper.

Thanks for your review and your thoughts on the omission of the pop up headlights as a MOC builder and the reasons it may not be possible. I think most people remember it with the lights in the off position.

I’ve been hoping for Paper Bags still. But I’m guessing getting sets to review straight from Denmark, it’s paper bags for now on. The sets sent in paper, I’ve yet to find any. My guess is that the factory sending sets to the USA, hasn’t converted to paper bags yet.

I disagree with both the color and with it being the 5000QV only. I think a different color, red, even black or gray would be more interesting and not having the option to build it as the original Countach, the LP400, especially since 2024 is the 50th anniversary of its premiere are both huge missed opportunities. Especially with the way they did the wide body and wide tyres at the back, it really should be fairly elementary to have a buildable narrow body version of the car.

Yes, by now it should be confirmed to be $180 USD. Regardless, this is another large scale LEGO car I must own. The Lamborghini Countach is one of my favorite cars of all time, probably within the top 3 or 5. Especially being a kid of the 80s, it was, and still is, a dream car poster for my walls. I, of course, have the smaller Speed Champions version and very glad ALL the white parts match on this larger one (yeah, a slight let down on the SC with the white print over the window pieces). And, no decals and all printed pieces with this new larger one. Agree, wish they had the pop up headlight feature. But, I also miss the split in center of the side door windows is missing. Not sure how they could have added that detail in? But, it is a design aesthetic unique to this car which I would have light to have seen.

Even with all things considered, this set is overpriced. Printed pieces should be the standard, not a special feature. The build looks incredible, but Lego is getting greedy with these prices that consistently feel 15% to 25% overpriced. They love the "premium" marketing strategy but then hypocritically cut corners all over the place. It puts a bad taste in my mouth so when an excellent build like this comes along and feels a little bit (10-15%) overpriced, I don't even consider it. Maybe I would shell out more for day one buys if Lego genuinely showed they cared about the customers and not just for marketing purposes.

this just doesnt look like a countach it looks terrible especially the front the alternative build for the Porsche is a better looking and more accurate Countach than this and the price is outrageous very poor job from Lego

The two wheels in the rear is terrible. For all the money Lego makes you think they could make wider wheels and tires. I bet there are plenty of cars that could benefit from wider tires. This just screams 18 wheeler

Can you please stop advertising how these sets include paper bags? You’ve been saying Lego is using paper bags in their sets for a while now and not once have I stumbled upon any, and I buy dozens of sets a year. They obviously use paper bags for the review copies for people like you, but that’s it. There’s nothing inherently wrong here, but I think it’s time you stop advertising the inclusion of paper bags in these sets when they very clearly aren’t widespread of the general public yet. This is just another example of the disconnect between LAN members and actual regular consumers. These so called “unbiased” reviews will never truly be unbiased.

I have to thanks lego because this set is so ugly and overpriced that i decided to buy mould king lamborghini countach (Firas moc done with Porsche pieces improved...loooks way better) for 30 euros instead of the 180 Lego wants. Really disappointed from this Lego set...at 180 euros i pretend much more. The only thing premium is the price.

STOP SAYING you get paper bags in your sets. It’s freaking random. Every set I buy that you review with paper bags they never have them for me. I’ve yet to experience the paper bag. So just stop it’s not correct
