Watch me build and review the LEGO LIMITED EDITION Alien Space Diner 40687 Gift With Purchase (GWP) set from 2024! It's for builders 6+ and comes with 2 minifigures that have white and ORANGE (Yes, orange!) Classic Space torsos, but sadly no airtanks (which are sold separately for a few cents on LEGO.com but have minimum purchase thresholds). This is the first time in LEGO history for an orange Classic Space torso to be included in a building set (as opposed to a book)!
This was a GWP offered exclusively from LEGO.com and LEGO stores in May 2024 for any purchase above 100 USD/130 CAD, and its approximate retail value was 20 USD/25 CAD.
As usual, I built this set without instructions, relying only on the box art and building phases for each bag!

Bought some air tanks for the minifigs and plan to swap heads to the classic face. Really good idea of LEGO providing dual printed head with classic face, wish LEGO had thought of that.

Double check that it's not stuck to the box in a corner or between instruction pages! Otherwise, you can contact LEGO Customer Service and they will gladly send you a sticker sheet within a few days!

It looks very clever how they have a Lego alien that sound around with food. I reckon it would be lovely if Lego designed an under the sea Lego diner with an octopus instead of an alien and the customers could be divers or mermaids . What do you think of this idea?

Haha I wish! 😂 But LEGO used to have 250 USD/330 CAD thresholds last year so at least it's not that bad in comparison

@VersatileFunDesigns true, but getting the Easter bunny cottage was cheaper to obtain. I think it was only $90? But even $10 cheaper is better then $100, but I agree with you on that
